The cabin is just as advertised. Neat as a pin. Fully stocked kitchen with utensils, an oven, fridge, and dishwasher. I cooked all of our meals here. Wal Mart was an easy 15 minute drive do get groceries. We loved the lake and kids highly enjoyed kyaking. Super impressed with this location.
We had 2 granddaughters that played separate games Friday night and early Saturday morning. We didn’t want to drive back to Amity and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Checked Vrbo and found this hidden gem. It was so cute on the outside and then my eyes got wider as I walked in. It was so beautiful. Loved the layout and decor. It was the most amazing, comfortable farmhouse. Our view of the mountains surrounding us had snow on them. It was an unexpected treat. We talked about building a home like this. Thank you for sharing your home.
This was the best night stay we’ve had out of 4 different cabins in the area. Very comfortable king size bed and beautiful location. Some of the kitchen items provided were a little worse for wear, so I’ll bring some of my own next time. We will definitely stay at this resort again.
The Quarterhouse was a beautiful home with everything we needed for our stay. We brought our side by side and Found a lot of great places to ride right from camp. Can’t wait to come back.
Roses:
Lovely cottage!
Very reasonable rate and we appreciate 1 night booking allowance as we were driving thru
Great amenities - beautiful surroundings - we enjoyed the lake
We enjoyed rocking chairs in wrap around porch and the patio area.
We wish we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of more of the numerous amenities (hot tub, fire pit, hiking trails, outdoor grill, etc…)
We would definitely stay again!
Minor thorns:
The primrose is up on a hill with a narrow crossing that is a little scary to a flat lander…I recommend filling in the pothole and packing in the gravel.
Some solar powered lights for the drive way in front of the cottage would be helpful for drive up visibility at night.
The sign on the Main Street indicates the Primrose is 0.25 mi away. It was actually ~0.5 miles away from the sign.
Recommend removing .25 mi note or adding additional info in drive up explanation.
Recommend adding map of dumpster location in the checkout instructions.
This place is in such an incredible location, very clean and beautiful! The property owners were responding tk any questions quickly. We appreciate thsi place and will definitely be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Quarter House Cottage! House is roomy and decorated so cute! Really enjoyed the property! It’s absolutely gorgeous with views everywhere! We fished and rode paddle boats and kayaks at the lake. Also enjoyed bringing our ATV. This is something you don’t want to miss! Thank you for sharing your little piece of Heaven with us!
We had an absolutely amazing stay here. The property was immaculate and was very comfortable.

Most beautiful cabin we have stayed in. Setting was awesome and looking to mountains was so relaxain
This was by far the most wonderfull - relaxing- time we have spent in a long time. The cabin was unbelievable. Everything you would need was supplied. Sitting on the porches was probably the high light of our trip. We enjoyed it so much that we only left one time to drive higher into the mountains. We decided why leave when the beauty was already all around you. We sat outside each day and watched the squirrels and birds all around us. We even got to be friends with two of the neighoring puppies. They were very friendly. We only turned the TV on one time so that should tell you how relaxing it was. I can not say enough about the cabin itself. The claw footed bath tubs were beautiful and the cabin itself was decorated. With a fireplace that even adds to the relaxation. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to spend time.

Clean, Comfortable, with a great view! Exceeded all expectations!
We were pleasantly surprised with the cottage upon our arrival. It was spacious, clean, and exceeded our expectations! The beds are extremely comfortable, and the bath-tub was so relaxing. We arrived at night, so it wasn't until the next morning that we also realized how nice the view was. Their property is so well kept and the view even from the front porch of the cottage is just incredible. The internet worked great, I turned the TV on briefly to catch the end of a football game and it worked flawlessly, we ate most of our meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed. I'm sure it didn't hurt that we picked a perfect weekend for the weather. Michael was very responsive and helpful with recommendations on restaurants and hikes. It looks nice in the pictures, but it is just nicer when you actually arrive. We really hope to come back again soon. A+

Best experience away on vacation EVER
When we stepped into our cottage, it felt like we were stepping into a magazine spread from Pottery Barn. Not only does it look perfect BUT everything is so practical too; They had every single necessity and novelty that we could have needed/wanted. In addition, the place was immaculate which is so important to me!
The owners did not disappoint either. They are there to help in any way, readily accessible and the kindest people you could ever meet!
We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually scheduled another trip just 5 short months later!
By the way, as pretty as the pictures are, they don't even do the place justice. I mean, seriously. It is breathtaking! I can't wait to see it in the Fall!
