Relaxing setting for a family vacation

Pleasant stay in a quiet and relaxing setting. The multiple gathering spaces were great for the family, the host was very responsive, the beds were comfortable, and the distance to the airport and metro Atlanta was great. The property is spacious and comfortable overall, but could use a little TLC with upkeep and general maintenance (showing it’s age/wear), and attention to detail for incoming guests. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

A Wonderful Place

This was truly such a beautiful home in a nice quiet area! The house was spotless when we arrived and check in was extremely easy and simple. There is so much to do at the house we ended up cancelling a lot of our plans and spending the vast majority of our time there enjoying everything! I highly recommend staying here if you are interested.

Beautiful Home for Retreat

Hosted a healing retreat for a group of breast cancer survivors and friends. The home was a perfect beautiful backdrop for our retreat; Relaxing (we loved the lake). Even enjoyed fishing with rods made available at the house. Plenty of space for our group; nice size rooms, beds very comfortable! Enough room for morning yoga, dining together, sitting by the fire pit, etc.

Amazing place to relax for the whole family

Just an amazing place to take a step away and relax by the lake. The views were amazing and was able to kayak and fish just about everyday. The proximity to Atlanta was great and was able to use our City Pass for 2 days to truly enjoy every part of what Atlanta area had to offer. It was an older home completely redone to really offer all the modern amenities.

Excellent Property

This property is very nice, it is located in a great area and is very peaceful. The setup of the home is excellent, and everyone didn't have to be on top of each other. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The home is very clean and the welcome basket when we checked in was very nice. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks

nice big house-very spacious

This house is great for a large family group. This is our first time using VRBO and was pleased with its organization. Great host communication, the house is extremely well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, towels and amenities as well. There were a couple of issues while staying there. HOPEFULLY they will repair these things before renting again.

Nice home beautiful lake

Comfortable house beautiful lake. Enjoyed the paddle boat option. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating was the A/C . Main level was fine, downstairs bedroom and upstairs master was very warm at night even with separate thermostats. Otherwise great property

Relaxing and quiet

We had a great time there and there is so much space for people to relax and do their own thing. We are certainly looking forward to renting again in the future. The only problem I ever had was that the upstairs master bedroom got really hot one night. I come from Seattle and once he gets over 72 we melt!

Hi Randy, thank you for taking the time to write us and helpful feedbacks. It does gets hot in Georgia and heat rises to the top. We did listen and add portable AC located in the corner of the master room which easily can be turn on and off as needed basis as additional. Thank you again for staying with us and looking forward to host you again next year.

Awesome home!

The house is so roomy and huge! We loved it. We didn’t get to experience the lake but that’s not why had originally gone for. I loved it the only thing is we were far from the places we planned to go, so if your trying to go out into ATL be prepared to drive. But overall I loved it
