Stay was good except we couldn’t get access to the game room. Benches to the patio outside were messed up and cracked when it was sat on. Other than than the stay was great!

Access to the basement/game room is clearly outlined in our detailed check-in guide, which is provided in the VRBO app prior to arrival. When you reached out, we immediately walked you through those same instructions to ensure you could access the space. Regarding the patio seating, we appreciate you bringing that to our attention. The benches have since been replaced. Great space

We hosted a work retreat in this space. House was clean, property manager was accessible and friendly, space was roomy enough to fit 12 and sleep our 7 comfortably. Bathrooms were nice, kitchen was up to date. We enjoyed our stay!

The house looks newer in the online photos but it is a much older home. When entering for the first time the home smelled like it had been sitting for a while...a sort of moldy aroma. One of the doors and most of the windows were not secured...we had to discover this on our own. The shower floors were not clean. Overall, it was not a very comfortable stay.

Our listing clearly reflects that this is a renovated older home, not new construction, and the photos accurately represent the space and its character. Regarding the odor, we did not receive any communication during your stay about this. Both our cleaning team and subsequent guests have not reported any such issue, and we would have promptly addressed it had we been notified in real time. As for security, all doors and windows are checked and secured as part of our standard turnover process. It’s not uncommon for guests to open windows during their stay, but we have not had any prior concerns in this regard. Cleanliness is something we take very seriously. If there were any issues with the shower floors, we would have immediately sent our team back out to correct it, but again, this was not brought to our attention during your stay. We’re always available and responsive to ensure guests are comfortable, and we encourage reaching out during the stay so any concerns can be resolved right away.

My 50th!!

I live here in Decatur but needed more space to host my guest for my 50th. The host stay in contact from the time of booking until check out. Once I walked in, we were provided with every item a person could need while away from home. I mean everything. This place added a special moment for my 50th occasion. No other place or host would’ve been better for my family. This place is awesome. I appreciate your hospitality! I’m trying to book again already and it’s only been 1 day since I checked out😁

I’m a proud University of Georgia grad (Go Dawgs!!!) and also studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Virginia. After school, I moved to Atlanta and worked in finance for several years before discovering my true passion: hosting.

I started back in 2015 by renting out a spare bedroom, which quickly grew into remodeling a basement and eventually helping friends and family design their own vacation homes. What began as a side project turned into Host This Home in 2018, where I now get to focus full-time on creating comfortable, memorable spaces for travelers.

I also serve as Treasurer for the Atlanta Metro Short-Term Rental Association, where I work with other hosts to keep Atlanta’s short-term rental community strong and welcoming.

When you stay with me, my goal is simple: to make you feel right at home while enjoying everything our city has to offer.

Our home is located in the beautiful Kings Row neighborhood, just a quick two-minute drive from the Wesley Chapel exit off I-20. This community is known for its spacious homes, many over 4,000 square feet, set on wide front lawns and generous backyards. The neighborhood shines in every season—lush and green in the spring and summer, full of color as the leaves change in fall, and crisp and inviting when cooler weather arrives. Families make up much of the community, and our immediate neighbors are especially warm and welcoming.

Staying here also means convenience is on your side. Major grocery stores, restaurants, and everyday shopping are just minutes away, and with I-20 less than two miles from the house, you’ll have quick access to all the attractions and neighborhoods that make Atlanta such an exciting place to visit.
