Villa Antiga is beautifully located on a large piece of land with a natural garden, not far from the coastal town of Fuseta. In this friendly fishing village, you can go shopping, enjoy local restaurants, and take the ferry to the beautiful Atlantic beach in just a few minutes. There is also a smaller lagoon beach nearby, which has a very calm and special atmosphere.
Around Villa Antiga, you will find several quiet places to relax, including two roof terraces with wide views of the sea. Rustic stone paths lead to the private swimming pool, which is twelve metres long and surrounded by green bushes and trees. A shaded seating area and a brick outdoor shower complete the pleasant pool area.
The guest apartment includes the old part of the villa and a newer extension. It can be expanded to three bedrooms by renting the separate casinha. No matter which option you choose, there are no other people on the property, so guests can enjoy full privacy.
In front of the larger guest apartment is a sheltered terrace of about 25 m². From here, you have a very peaceful view of the green garden and the surrounding nature. Two sides are closed with glass, which protects the area from the wind and creates a spacious summer living room.
Inside, the living room feels warm and cosy. A dining area completes the space. Next to it is the large kitchen, and from the kitchen you can enter a bathroom. The main house also has two bedrooms, one of them with its own en-suite bathroom. The small casinha is just across from the main house and offers another bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. It can be booked together with the main house between April and October. A washing machine is available for guests to use there.
All bedrooms, as well as the living room, have modern air‑conditioning units that can cool or heat. Using them is optional; the electricity they use is metered separately and charged at check‑out.
Villa Antiga is a perfect place for up to five people who are looking for peace and privacy, while still being close to the beautiful beach and the lively village life.

Great villa with huge pool.

We had a lovely time again, having visited 6 years ago. The villa and terrace are wonderful and the enormous pool is the perfect place to cool down. A brilliant location for beaches and day trips. Thanks Jens and Heidi for a lovely stay.

We had a great stay at Villa Antiga. Jens was great, and even rescued us with some extra fans due to the extreme high temperature at night. Check in and out was easy. Property was great. All mod cons in the kitchen if needed including a coffee machine.

Amazing stay at Villa Antiga!

Great location for exploring Faro district, although a car is a must. Small town of Fruseta is only 10 minutes drive, where you can get a ferry to the beach or enjoy fresh fish cooked right in front of you. The Villa was very well equipped and very clean. Surrounded by nature we had complete privacy from neighbours. The pool is massive, couldn’t get the kids out! Would recommend 100%, already shared details with friends and family.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Sauber, alles vorhanden was man braucht, Pool ist der Wahnsinn. Wenn man von der Hauptstrasse abbiegt hat man das Gefühl man fährt ins Nirgandwo aber man landet in der Oase der Entspannung. Top

Casa rústica na natureza

Gostámos muito da estadia, a piscina poderia ter mais espaço à volta para colocar mais espreguiçadeiras. Não tem canais portugueses, apenas tv por satélite, mas até soube bem.. Existe Wifi na zona principal da casa, mas apenas serve para trocar mensagens e ver mails, é ilimitada, mas lenta. Recomendo, o Jens foi sempre prestável e muito simpático, tudo correu na perfeição.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage, alles bestens

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Antiga hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Haus war äußerst sauber und kurz vor uns wurde das Wohnzimmer neu eingerichtet. Wir durften den tollen Kaminofen einweihen, der es am Abend schön warm und gemütlich gemacht hat. Das Haus strahlt insgesamt viel Wärme aus, ist gut ausgestattet, hat schnelles Internet, Sat-TV... Die überdachte Terrasse konnten wir auch im November gut nutzen, selbst im großen Pool waren wir mal. Die Nähe zu Fuseta ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt, ein sympathischer Ort in dem man alles bekommt. Das Licht an der Lagune ist magisch. Buchung und Betreuung waren ebenfalls schnell und zuverlässig, also alles bestens, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung und die Sauberkeit waren nicht gut.

Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön angelegt, macht jedoch einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Ausnahme bildet der sehr schöne, saubere Pool. Es gibt schöne Sitzplätze und eine windgeschützte Terrasse. Innen mangelt es an der Sauberkeit und beide Betten ( 1 ist nur eine alte Schlafcouch, das andere max 1.30m breit) sind nicht gut. Die Küche ist gut und es gibt ausreichend Geschirr etc. so das sich die Spülmaschine auch für 2 Personen lohnt. Ein Teil der Möbel im Wohnbereich, sollte dringend ausgetauscht werden. Der Tisch wird vor dem Zusammenbrechen durch das Unterlegen von Büchern bewahrt. Sehr negativ für uns war das Umfeld des Grundstücks. Mehrere angekettete Hunde die oft stundenlang bellen und teilweise in ihrem eigenen Kot auf nackten Steinen leben, bereiten ein schlechtes Gefühl. Wenn man dann auch noch hingeht und das Elend dieser Tiere sieht, möchte man als einfühlsamer Mensch am Liebsten sofort helfen. Leider findet man selten Ansprechpartner und wenn, wollen sie von diesem Thema nichts wissen. Wir sind der Meinung das auch dieser Punkt zu einer gewerblichen Vermietung gehört und der Vermieter, zumindest aus Eigeninteresse etwas unternehmen sollte. Leider hatten auch die Vermieter für dieses Thema keine offenen Ohren. Vielleicht leben sie schon zu lange hier und empfinden den katastrophalen Umgang, speziell mit Hunden, schon als normal. Wir können diese Unterkunft, für wirklich normal empfindende Menschen, nicht empfehlen.

Erholung pur!

Ein richtiges Kleinod für einen perfekten Urlaub. Das Häuschen ist versteckt zwischen Bäumen und der Pool ist einfach super. Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Wer Tipps für die Umgebung haben möchte, sollte "Lost in Fuseta" lesen, denn der Autor hat das Buch dort geschrieben. Unbedingt sollte man aber mit einem kleinen Boot zum kilometerlangen Sandstrand fahren. Einzig negativ war der Umstand, dass uns dort WLan nicht zur Verfügung stand und dass man das Toilettenpapier nicht in die Toilette werden durfte. Da dieses jedoch für uns nicht so wichtig war, tat es unserem sehr schönen Urlaub dort keinen Abbruch und wir würden immer wieder gerne dorthin fahren.

Wieder ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Auch bei unserem zweiten Urlaub hat uns die Atmosphäre der Villa Antiga vollends begeistert. Die Überraschung bei unserer Ankunft stand in der Küche: Ein nagelneuer Geschirrspüler und ein großer Kühl-Gefrierschrank haben für zusätzlichen Komfort gesorgt. Einziges Manko (sofern man auf das Internet angewiesen ist) war ein neuer W-LAN Router: Das Signal war trotz Steckdosen-Verstärker so schwach, dass man praktisch nur in einem Zimmer online sein konnte und die Verbindungen sonst sehr instabil waren. Die netten Verwalterinnen sagten uns, dass man hier für Abhilfe sorgen werde. Alles in allem: Wir kommen gerne bald wieder!

Gelungener Urlaub mit tollem Pool als Paar

Obwohl das Landhaus schon etwas älter ist,war alles sehr sauber und so wie auf der Internetseite beschrieben. Es gibt genügend Geschirr und Besteck, die Matratzen sind sehr gut, erhosamer Schlaf ist garantiert.Das absolute Highlight ist der Pool,so eine Größe findet man selten.Auto ist aber erforderlich.Nicht verpassen sollte man den Naturpark Rio Formosa.Findet man vom Ferienhaus kommend Richtung Olhao hinter großem Kreisverkehr auf der linken Seite ( ausgeschildert ).Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt,da auch die Betreuung sehr nett.

Wer hier war, kommt wieder

Die Abreise fiel uns bei diesem Domizil schwerer denn je. Das Haus ist wunderbar, der Pool sensationell, die Dachterrassen erhöhte Oasen mit Blick über den romantischen Garten bis zum Meer. Die beiden Verwalterinnen Anne und Barbara sind äußerst sympathisch! Und: Das Wetter war perfekt. Da das Schlafzimmer im Haupthaus doch sehr beengt ist, haben wir das luftige Kaminzimmer mit dem bequemen Schlafsofa bevorzugt. Einzig die Stechmücken waren in der Dämmerung lästige Plagegeister. So intensiv haben wir das bisher an der Ostalgarve nicht erlebt. Aber das liegt in den Händen der Natur. In diesem Sinne: Wiedersehen in 2017 ...

Wir fanden ein sehr gepflegtes Anwesen vor, tiptop ausgestattet (von Glühbirnen, Spiele, Bücher, Tesa... noch nie so eine gut eingerichtete Küche in einer Fewo vorgefunden). Highlights sind die tolle große Terrasse und der phantastische Pool. Wir wurden perfekt, sowohl durch Familie Röver als auch durch Barbara und Anne vor Ort betreut. Besonders zu empfehlen Senhor Virgilio (Taxi durch Familie Röver organisiert), der uns pünktlich vom Flughafen abgeholt und wieder hin gebracht hat. Zum Anwesen selber: Es liegt ca. 10-15 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Wer entspannen möchte ohne Nachbarn und Trubel ist hier genau richtig. Der Strand ist mit dem Boot vom Hafen aus erreichbar. Weißer Strand soweit das Auge reicht und als kulinarische Highlights: leckere Pizza bei Josy. Sowie Fisch und die berühmten Grillhähnchen in den Restaurants zwischen Hafen und Supermarkt. Zum selber Braten: In der Markthalle wird fangfrischer Fisch, Gemüse sowie Fleisch verkauft. Ich würde jederzeit die Villa Antiga weiter empfehlen.

Traumhafter Erholungsurlaub

Wir haben 2 1/2 paradiesische Wochen in der Villa Antiga verbracht. Die Villa ist geeignet für Menschen die gerne weit ab vom Tourismus ihr Domizil haben möchten.Der Pool ist ein Traum,rund um das Haus hat man viele Möglichkeiten einen schönen Schattenplatz zu finden.Die überdachte Terasse ist super somit hat man ein zweites Wohnzimmer draußen (also einen Open-Livingroom).Dennoch ist man sehr schnell am Strand und diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind schnell zu erreichen.Die Betreuung durch Frau Silbernagel und Frau Kaack(Verwalterinnen) ist hervorragend und sehr herzlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Karen u. Udo. Kneer
