A highly relaxing stay

My 14yr old daughter, her BFF and myself thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Everything was perfect! Great communication with the host throughout our stay. The property is great, the view are outstanding and of course Manteo and the OBX was so fun! Beaches were absolutely gorgeous!! Can’t wait to go back!

Paradise off the beaten path

An amazing property just off the beaten path away from all the hustle and rush. Spotted tons of dolphins from the balcony and watched the sunrise every morning. The kids, my husband and I really enjoyed our time at Sweet T’s and hope to return in the future!

Wonderful condo in great location!

The condo was wonderfully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. We loved the location overlooking the Roanoke Sound! Being able to walk on the boardwalk around the complex observing the waterfowl and shorebirds was a definite plus for us!Watching the sunrise from the balcony was very special. Close proximity to restaurants and shopping was helpful. Terry, We really appreciated your friendliness and your willingness to answer our questions! It was a lovely relaxing vacation!

We have been coming to Manteo area for almost 20-years and absolutely love staying in the cozy little town of Manteo while enjoying the local beaches, restaurants, vacation shopping & bars. We have stayed in this unit for the last few years and it cozy & feels like home to us – The owner is very good and the unit is very convenient with a beautiful view of the sound & Nags Head.

Best place to stay in OBX!!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at sweet T’s!! The condo was beautiful, clean, and in a wonderful location!! The views were outstanding and we were able to see dolphins playing in the sound right from our balcony on a few different occasions!! We had no trouble checking in and Terry was extremely nice and helpful when I got a little confused about when my check out was (we had such a great week that apparently I forgot that I had to leave at some point lol). The condo and resort was everything we hoped it would be and more!!! We would 1000% stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have some peace and quiet with the added convenience of being able to get to beach and most any attraction/activity within 5-15 minutes!!

Had to call at 4:50 to get code to gain entry. Check in was at 5. Never informed the elevator was out. Staying on 3rd floor. Texted twice to get wifi code. 4 text before response about elevator. Two text thru vrbo and two text to phone. Had to use vice grip that was attached to dryer to turn it on. Very poor communication with property manager

We loved the property! It was clean and very comfortable. The location was great for going to the outer islands or into the town of Manteo. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. She offered suggestions on places to eat and activities to consider. We were well pleased with every aspect of our time in this lovely condo in Manteo.

Great location, great views

Excellent location for exploring the Outer Banks while staying just off the beaten path. With Pirates Cove being located just at the base of the Washington Baum bridge, we were a quick drive to Nags Head and the rest of the “main” OBX attractions and restaurants. Quiet location with a great balcony for sunrises!

Beautiful Condo with a great location in Pirates Cove and in the area, with a perfect view of the bay. The only problem we had was the TV’s & Stereo, which we could not operate, expect for Netflix in the Livingroom.

What a way to wake up!

Sweet T's was amazing. It was wonderful to wake up and have coffee on your own private balcony overlooking the sound where you could watch to boats and Dolphins. The condo was very clean and and included many amenities that you normally do not find when renting a condo. There are spices in the cabinet, coffee filters, garbage and storage bags, etc. Makes for a very nice stay to not have to buy all of that when you arrive. The property is very beautiful and we spent several hours at the pool and ate at the restaurant on the property that was amazing! Terry was extremely responsive and helpful when we asked where she got one of the pieces of art that she had displayed. We found new places to shop in the OBX and even came home with a similar piece of art based on her recommendations. Highly recommended if you go to the OBX!

Gorgeous place

You couldn’t asked for a more beautiful sunrise in the morning. We were there in June 2022 so the sunrise came up about 5:30 in the morning. It was gorgeous. This was a very nice area, met some friendly people. It was so close to everything. We went to the beach, Elizabethton garden, to the aquarium, Ate at some wonderful places. Watch all different types of kites flying. Seen a few people hang gliding. We walked around in their small town and ate at one of their restaurants.Watched all the shrimp boats coming in and going out every day. We even seen a seal one day in the water that was cool. Went to the Christmas store and got us a Christmas ornament that had to do with the Outer Banks and we also get us T-shirts Showing where will had been at. Great place to stay you will love it. A much needed retreat for mom & daughter

This was a phenomenal experience and a wonderful place to stay! Thank you to Terry for your wonderful hospitality and kindness. I rented this condo for a mother/daughter trip for my mom for a break from reality after my dad passed away recently. This was much needed bonding time for both of us & the location was perfect. This condo has amazing sunrise & sunset views from the deck. My mom couldn’t have been happier which was my goal. The elevator was also a wonderful amenity for her mobility issues. We visited everything from Hatteras to Corolla and had a wonderful trip. Again, thank you to Terry for wonderful hospitality and a wonderful vacation rental!

Terri was easy to work with. Check in was easy and had a great time. Wished we stayed here for a week. Bed is a little uncomfortable and toilets don’t flush well at all but it’s a very nice place and easy to get to restaurants and beaches

Great property, great view!

The condo is located in Pirates Cove which is just the Manteo side of the Washington Baum Bridge. From our balcony we could watch the sunrises and watch the boats go back and forth. The living space was clean, well appointed, and just right for my wife and me. Terry was an awesome host, always available and easy to chat with.

Perfect Getaway!

We had an amazing time. The property is in a perfect location. You can enjoy the historic Manteo, take 12 South to Cape Hatteras, or 12 North to Currituck and enjoy all the OBX has to offer. We loved that it was a safe gated community with beautiful surroundings. The condo was perfect size, comfortable, clean, and, of course, an amazing view. You can ride bicycle, walk, and/or enjoy a walk on the boardwalk. Definitely would recommend.

Ideal spot

Terry is a great host - very responsive and helpful! The condo was clean, well stocked and the property grounds are wonderful to walk on and explore. And the sunrises....I can't say enough about being able to watch them from the balcony. On our first morning, we saw dolphins and pelicans, as well as the usual day gang of ducks and seagulls. So incredibly relaxing.

Location and Sunrise!!

Terry was very helpful and super responsive. The condo is clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Waking up to the sunrise is a definite bonus! We sat on the patio and watched dolphins swim and boats go by. We walked to the Tiki Bar and Restaurant several times and even walked the docks and watched amazing sunsets each night. Everyone was super friendly, we made several new friends and had the best time! The location is great and close to so many fun things to do! Highly recommend! We are coming back!
