Nice home away from home

The German Haus was spacious and came with all the amenities we needed. We stayed 7 nights and really enjoyed it. Was great location for what we had on our itinerary. We even hosted guests on the porch one evening. I always stay at Tortuga Inn when in the area.

We appreciate specific feedback so we can improve our property for future or returning guests. If you gave us a 4* on communicating self check-in directions. I sent you the self check-in directions the night before check-in to the cell phone listed in your VRBO booking. But on the day of check-in you said you had not received directions for self check-in. You sent me a different number for sending check-in directions which I immediately resent to you.

Cozy Farm Stay

We had a cozy farm stay at German Haus. My friends and I did the river float and this was a great place to stay after. Seeing the cute farm animals was a bonus! The place had all the neccesaties, we also enjoyed the fire pit.

Comfortable little cabin that was perfect for our visit to family. Had many amenities that most hotel's didn't provide. Only thing that could have made our stay perfect would have been a washer and dryer if we stayed longer. This is our second time staying here.

The German Haus was phenomenal, serene, and unique. It made for for an outstanding weekend getaway The owners were great to work with and very friendly Everything was absolutely perfect. Manager was very good about staying in touch and made the checking in process simple and straight forward. Property was clean and secluded from a busier city profile but still near a town for food or anything otherwise.

The German Haus was the perfect spot for a short getaway to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings nearby. The cottage was neat and tidy, instructions were very clear, and little amenities like breakfast snacks and drinks were much appreciated. The host was excellent to communicate with and always very helpful. Recommended!

This was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway to celebrate a birthday! The country setting was ideal! The day before our travels, Linda, the host, was very good with informing us of all the necessary details (directions to the location, key code to the keys in lock box, what to do at check out....) The beds were super soft and comfortable. Linda also had milk, orange juice and breakfast foods waiting on us in the fridge... and the yummy snacks sitting out on the table was a bonus!
