Peaceful retreat

This well equipped but simply furnished fire is off the beaten track, but the drive in is well maintained and no problem for our small car. It’s a very peaceful spot and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding woods and river valley. There’s a great range of maps and guides at the gite and The owner was very kind and brought English guides for local sites. Quimper is only a short drive away, with many restaurants, museums etc. The Super U and excellent boulangerie at Plogonnec, 10 minutes away, made grocery shopping very easy.

Un séjour d’une semaine reposant dans un havre de paix. Un petit paradis à 15 min de Quimper, un logis bien équipé, un environnement naturel où l’on entend les oiseaux tout au long de la journée. Des hôtes accueillants et très sympathiques. Je recommande. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine.

Kleine gezellige gîte voor 2 personen met alle gewenste voorzieningen: leuke eetplaats, gezellig salon / slaapkamer, badkamer en kleine keuken.Jammer dat het water niet echt drinkbaar was: koken én drinken met flessenwater ( eigenaar bood wel 6 flessen aan). Keuken met grote koelkast/ diepvries combi, microwave. Een kookplaat met 3 of 4 vuren had handiger geweest, maar doenbaar.Gîte ligt diep verscholen in het bos: verharde bosweg tot aan de gîte. Bijzonder mooie omgeving, wij hebben dagelijks uitstappen gedaan naar alle bezienswaardigheden in Zuid - West Bretagne.

Merci pour vos remarques et commentaires. Concernant l'eau, le gîte est alimenté par une source, comme de nombreux autres gîtes en campagne ou montagne. Nous n'avons pas un contrôle continu sur l'eau, c'est pourquoi nous suggérons aux vacanciers d'utiliser de l'eau en bouteille. Évidemment l'eau du robinet est filtrée et ne pose aucun problème pour cuisiner et se laver.

Bien acceuillis et conseillés pour nos ballades.L'endroit est isolé et donc le calme est garanti.Quand il fait chaud, la chambre étant a l'étage, il faut bien ventiler pour baisser la température.Très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Il est rare qu'il fasse aussi chaud en Bretagne et donc, les ventilateurs et climatiseurs sont complètement inutiles par chez nous... À voir : si les étés deviennent caniculaires, nous équiperons le gîte pour que les vacanciers ne soient pas incommodés. Merci de cette remarque.

Si vous souhaitez du calme c'est le bon endroit! Isolés au coeur d'un bois (le trajet de la clairière à la route est "fun"), nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le gîte offre de bonnes prestations. Une suggestion néanmoins: un petit ventilateur sur la mezzanine

Au milieu de la nature

Petit gîte à l'écart, complètement isolé au milieu de la nature. Une voiture est indispensable pour pouvoir rayonner dans le Finistère sud. Quimper est à une vingtaine de minutes. Amateurs de randonnées, d'embruns, de vieilles pierres et de galeries d'art, régalez vous !

Loin du monde

Lieu idéal pour les personnes qui cherchent le calme absolu Nous n'étions pas conscients de la situation très isolée, et d'accès difficile par un chemin de forêt en pente raide. L'impossibilité d'avoir des activités sans utiliser la voiture nous a pesé. Le manque d'êtres humains alentours aussi, pour nous les voyages ne sont pas concevables sans rencontres

Il est important de bien lire le descriptif de l'annonce. Ce gîte plaît à d'autres vacanciers heureusement et nous le louons d'ailleurs depuis près de 15 ans. Si la route est un chemin rural en pente, celle-ci n'est pas "raide" comme indiqué dans ce commentaire, et nul besoin d'un quatre quatre pour y accéder, nous n'en avons pas ;)) Quand aux rencontres, il faudrait plutôt se diriger vers des chambres d'hôtes ou des campings à mobil-homes : il en faut pour tout les goûts ! D'autre part, nous prenons soin d'accueillir personnellement les vacanciers, ce qui n'est pas le cas dans de nombreuses locations. Désolée pour ce séjour qui ne correspondait pas aux attentes. Je ne saurais que trop conseiller aux vacanciers de ne pas hésiter à demander un maximum de renseignements auparavant , et de nous contacter directement au téléphone.

A very peaceful haven.

A slightly unusual but desirable property, ideal for two people. Located in a very private location with plenty of outside space. Well equipped and very clean and tidy. Good supermarkets a short drive away. A car is essential. There is no WiFi at this property and phone/ mobile data signal is essentially absent ( a short 5 minute walk up the driveway approach seemed to remedy this).No WiFi may be desirable to some, undesirable to others depending on personal preference. The host was very pleasant and welcoming with plenty of advise on where to visit/ shop etc. We found this very useful and helped us find some beautiful places. If you want a true “ getting away from it all “experience then this is a good contender.
