This was our third visit to Rob's place. As always the kitchen was well stocked, house was very clean, and the view of the lake is the BEST by far. This house has a nice long dock, which was great for my husband to fish from. The surroundings are very quiet, and the neighbors our great!

The pictures showed inside the home clean which was accurate, and inside it had everything you need such as supplies. The outside was in need of alot of maintenance. When walking on the double story stairs and deck, it felt very unsecure and moved alot. Our goal was to relax by the water outside, and maybe fish alittle but everything was covered in cobwebs and spiders. The waterhose was very short and had very little water pressure so I couldnt reach to clean or spray off any of the upstairs deck tables or chairs….same with the boat deck by the water. So we didnt get to really sit outside at all and relax. Ended up leaving early.

This 1960s lakeside home is clean & neat inside. Cute lake decor. 2 private bedrooms, a large living area, front deck and back deck, 1 full bath with washer/dryer, stocked kitchen (appliances/utensils, not food) with everything we needed to make breakfast & store snacks. Large refrigerator. Parking is on a concrete pad next to the house. Stairs are necessary to enter the living quarters. WiFi and TVs worked well. Since we were attending a wedding in the area, we were generally away from the home most of the day. Owner directed us to a lockbox for key entry. We were instructed to text when leaving. There was quite a bit of rain prior to our arrival, and the yard/dock/firepit area were flooded by rising water and unusable. The next day improved; however, everything was wet. The third day continued to improve.The views were about the best part of this VRBO experience. Beautiful sunrise/sunset. The house is older and shows its age. As with any home near the water, maintenance is a constant, speaking from experience. The area around the home is fish camp feeling and neighbors are close. The cost per night was a bit high for size and condition of the property, and where it is located. This VRBO suited our needs, but it is likely we will not return.
