About this property

Monument gun cottage has its own character

Relax during your Ostfriesland vacation in our beautifully restored in 1998, the comfortable and quiet on the mound Fries house whose foundation stone was laid in 1799. All rooms are bright and friendly, even decorated and fired ceramic tiles give the house a very personal touch. The furniture was put together so that all our guests can feel comfortable around. From March 2016 now also wireless possible.
Relax in the cozy living room with wood-burning fireplace (firewood we place for you) and a modern flat screen TV. On the ground floor you will find the small bedroom with a comfortable double bed.
In the kitchen for a 4-burner electric stove with oven, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and a microwave for quick meals. Coffee machine, toaster and egg cooker are about ready also. The house also includes a washer and dryer and two bicycles.
The house has 2 bathrooms, each with a toilet and a bathtub or a shower. In addition to the wall radiators in the bathrooms floor heating throughout the ground floor provides (except in the bedroom) for a pleasantly warm foot area.

The upper floor of our house is a single door-less room. The staircase is designed so that the transition fluidly into the room. The space is ideal for living and sleeping alike. The double bed is to transform a few steps into a couch instead. In addition, a single bed. Again, a TV with a DVD player and a CD player is available. For younger guests there is here a small children's play area with table, chairs and toys / board games.

WIr fahren schon seit über 25 Jahren in die Region und machten zum 1. Mal Urlaub in diesem gemütlichen historischen Haus. Vor allem anderen hervorheben möchte ich die immer zeitnahe, sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und dessen großer Hilfsbereitschaft in Bezug auf die Versorgung meines lungenkranken Mannes mit Sauerstoff hervorheben (Kommunikation mit der Lieferfirma, Annahme der Lieferung der Tanks, etc.). Dies war uns eine große Hilfe. Im Übrigen haben wir uns im Haus sehr wohlgefühlt, es hat an nichts gemangelt. WIr werden gerne wiederkommen.

Das Ferienhaus ist so liebevoll eingerichtet, man konnte sich einach nur wohlfühlen. Obwohl wir wettertechisch die wohl schlechteste Woche des Jahres erwischt haben, konnten wir jeden Tag etwas in näherer oder weiterer Umgebung unternehmen. Das abendliche "nach-Hause-kommen" in dieses gemütliche Haus war dann gleich nochmal so schön. Vieln Dank für den tollen Urlaub

…auf der Suche nach den Drehorten von Otto Waalkes Filmen ist man hier genau richtig. Ostfriesenflair pur. Ganz nah bei Greetsiel und dem Pilsumer Leuchtturm. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet. Sehr gefallen hat uns das reichhaltige Spielzeug. Betten hätten bequemer sein können. Internet und Trockner konnten wir nicht nutzen - da defekt bzw.viel zu langsam.

Rundum zufrieden

Das Ferienhaus ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter, kann man es sich in der Ferienwohnung gemütlich machen. Es sind viele Spielsachen für die Kinder vorhanden. Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Trubel, man ist aber fußläufig in ca. 45 Minuten in Greetsiel, mit dem Fahrrad 15 Minuten und mit dem Auto 5 Minuten. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war super, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.

Liebevolles Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass der Urlaub gleich mit dem Betreten des Häuschens beginnt. Alles, was man benötigt, ist vorhanden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war freundlich und unkompliziert. Auf Nachfragen reagierte der Vermieter schnellstmöglich. Es liegt günstig für Ausflüge, egal ob mit Fahrrad, Auto oder Bus. Es gibt ebenfalls einen Hofladen in unmittelbarer Nähe, wo selbstgemachter Käse verkauft wird. Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass mit der Kurkarte die Busse für 1 Euro je Fahrtrichtung genutzt werden können. So lohnen sich auch Ausflüge bis nach Emden, da der Bus stündlich fährt.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir waren begeistert von der Unterkunft in dem wunderschönen Dorf Pilsum, mit einem kleinen Dorfladen und Käserei. Sehr sauber und top eingerichtet. Mit dem Rad keine 10 Minuten zum Meer. Und nach Greetsiel ca. 15 Minuten. Absolut empfehlenswert und immer wieder gerne.

Meine Mutter hat mit unserer Tochter eine sehr erholsame Woche in dem sehr gemütlichen Häuschen in Pilsum verbracht. Die Wohnung ist mit wirklich allem was man benötigt ausgestattet und sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Häuschen ist sehr ruhig gelegen, trotzdem benötigt man nur wenige Autominuten nach Greetsiel oder Pewsum. Sehr netter Kontakt zu den Vermietern, auch bereits im Vorfeld, vielen Dank. Wir empfehlen das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter!
