The house was as advertised ... clean, nice, and fully functional. Most importantly for us, it was an easy drive to Yellowstone's north entrance (easier than the most used West Yellowstone) and Gardiner was a great little town.
Loved the property. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on patio and looking at the river. House was only a few minutes from the yellowstone entrance. The house was also extremely clean.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to Montana/Wyoming. The house was wonderful; very clean and had everything we needed. Sitting on the deck, watching the mountains and Yellowstone River was very peaceful and relaxing. It was exciting to watch the 40 to 50 Elk and geese, on different occasions graze in the yard then swim across the river. We only wish we had a longer stay.
House was clean and the host was super responsive. The location in terms of proximity to the park entrance was unbeatable. It took us about 8 minutes to get there. My boys enjoyed fishing on the lake directly behind the house.
Our stay was wonderful! This property and the house is beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. We were out on the deck when a herd of at least 50 elk came by to graze and then when they were done, we watched them swim across the Yellowstone River to the other side. Perfect location for Yellowstone National Park and many fun activities like whitewater rafting. Highly recommend!!
Great location next to town and near entrance to park. We had 7 people, the listing says sleeps 10, I would say that’s a stretch! We had 4 adults and 3 college boys and some were sleeping on the couches. Clean, has everything, could use more large towels for showering
Great location and view. River is awesome! Wildlife abundant. This cabin lacked nothing.
We headquartered there as we toured Yellowstone, Gardiner and Livingston.
The house was very clean, roomier than the pictures show, and the location was excellent- right on the river and just north of Gardiner. Great location for extended family with kids to hang out and relax.
Property was exactly as advertised. Great views of the river and wildlife surrounding the area. House was very clean and we did our very best to keep it that way. Accommodated 5 adults with plenty of space to spare. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.
We loved staying at this location. It was extremely clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located near town but still very peaceful. There was an elk that stayed in the yard next door or down by the river. We sat on the front porch and watched her for hours.
Great property! We found everything very neat and clean with everything we needed for a three night’s stay! Beds were very comfortable! Loved sitting out on the deck in the afternoon, having an adult beverage, and watching the elk and listening to the bulls bugle! The sound of the river immediately brought relaxation! Very much recommend!
This property has beautiful views and a very short drive to Yellowstone. Would happily recommend for 2 couples or families. Not a lot of indoor seating in each of the 2 living rooms but we were there to see the park and there is plenty of seating on the lovely deck.
This place was amazing. Spacious, clean, mountains views from every single window. Deer and elk in the yard, the river 50 ft from the front door. Grill, coffee pot, washer dryer all was phenomenal. We had one request and not only was it answered timely they went above and beyond.

Perfect for an overnight stop/stay but not for more than 1 night and not family friendly. n
This property is in an excellent location, located very conveniently right off the main highway, 10 minutes from Gardiner and the grocery store and 15 minutes to the north entrance of Yellowstone. It was very clean, and host provided nice towels and comfy beds. Although we could not access Yellowstone River it was quite beautiful to view from the property. This property is good for an overnight stay but not for an extended stay nor is it good for traveling families with young children. Let me explain… As we traveled along the highway we drove right past this property because it looked nothing like the photos plus it has no curb appeal or “Welcome” sign. When we pulled up, we had to re-check the address because the online photos were deceiving. Since it is located right off the highway, it is not as private as advertised. Also, there is a detached garage with an apartment above immediately adjacent to this property. The balcony of that residence looks directly down on the porch where we were staying, so not private at all, not expected as per the description online. Unfortunately, when we entered the home it was above 80 degrees inside, the owner attributed it to the previous guests. There is a small wall unit air conditioner in the kitchen window, so between that, opening the windows, and turning the ac way down it finally cooled off a bit. After a long drive we had planned on taking it easy the first night and relaxing outside by the firepit. Unfortunately, enormous sprinklers were pumping water up from the river to water the grassy area, these sprinklers remained on the entire three days that we stayed. Early mornings a man would come to move the sprinklers, so it was not possible to enjoy an early morning coffee on the deck in your pjs, again, not very private. We were never able to use the firepit nor were the children able to play outside because of the sprinklers. I understand droughts and fire hazards, but the property manager should have informed us of the possibilities of not being able to utilize the outdoor space. A private beach for fishing is also advertised, however, we could not access it. The river area is overgrown with trees and it is very steep and dangerous to even consider taking young children down to the river to fish. These issues would not have been a problem if they were disclosed to us prior to our visit.
This property cannot be beat for access to Yellowstone and being away from the hustle and bustle at the West Entrance. We were just minutes from the North Entrance and that afforded us more opportunities to see all the highlights in the park. Also, it was a super relaxing place to stay and enjoy the sounds of the river and the views of the mountains ♥️
So so relaxing!
We all loved the house and especially the location. Less than 10 minutes from Yellowstone and 5 minutes to the hot springs , 5 minutes to shopping. We had a eagle visit daily and hundreds of elk to watch across the river and in the river! I would rent this house again and can’t wait to return!
This house has a wonderful location! Just outside of Yellowstone park was so convenient and the house sitting right on the Yellowstone river was absolutely beautiful. Played cornhole while cooking our dinner on the grill, then enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner on the deck with a beautiful view.
