This was a clean, comfortable, well situated accommodation that suited me perfectly. The apartment contained everything such as coffee maker that anyone would need. Highly recommended.

The apartment worked very well for us. We were visiting our son and his family and the apartment was less than 2 miles from his house. The apartment was spacious, with living room, bedroom, small dining area and bath. The kitchen is very small, with a full size fridge and microwave and a keurig coffee pot, but only a 2 burner hotplate. Perfectly adequate for us since we only had breakfast at the apartment and otherwise ate at our son’s house. We plan to stay here again whenever we visit our son.

Quiet stay

Location is wonderful

Close to highways. Starbucks is close by. Get to magic mountain in 45 min. Hollywood in 30 min. Malibu is 20min ish. Beautiful scenery all around. Take a drive thru the mountains to get to malibu. Street parking on busy road. Would stay here again!

Safe Travels

First time traveling without my spouse and to LA which I had some reservations about. There was a secure entrance plus our own apartment with lock. This put me as ease right away. We got in very late which wasn't an issue. The property was beautiful, in a wonderful area and very close to everything you could think of needing. The owner was very responsive and was even was enthusiastic about our reason for travel. We loved this property and would highly recommend and even stay again. Thank you!!!

Very nice stay

The unit was clean, comfortable, pretty much as described in the listing. We felt safe and secure. The host was friendly, super helpful, and answered questions in a flash. There are two A/C units, both of which worked amazingly well. Based on prior experiences with A/C units installed in the window, I was concerned there might be moldy and musty smell. Happy to say there was NONE! The unit was free of scents and chemical smells, which we greatly appreciated. There was a bit of road noise if we had the windows open but closed them, put on the A/C and it was great. Will happily stay again if in the area.

Clean and convenient, friendly owner, but needs repairs

I had a short visit and found the apartment to meet my needs. The location was convenient to stores. Parking on street was very easy. The bed was very comfortable and the AC unit did an okay job of cooling down the bedroom at night. It was easy to get in touch with the owner when I needed to. The main reason I can't leave a higher review is because there are some much needed repairs with the blinds and window screens. There was a sign taped to the refrigerator saying not to touch the blinds because they don't work. Additionally, there was a large hole in the screen in the bedroom. The windows had been left open prior to my arrival. I spent a good part of my first evening trying to get a bat out of the apartment. I am sure it came in through the hole in the screen. With some repairs to the window screen and new blinds, this could be a nice place to stay.

Outstanding Host

I’ve been coming back and forth to LA for about 9 years since I lost my Husband shortly after moving to FL to be close to my Mom. I’ve stayed here numerous times and it’s been nothing but a pleasant experience. Mom lives in the house and Lena, her daughter both magnificently manage the two units that are available to stay at. They respond immediately, if something isn’t working properly they’re on it. In fact, this last time I spent a month there and just now have moved to a furnished rental as my kids have all moved into the Valley (not LA proper) so I’m not familiar , but it was great. I just don’t know if I want to buy or rent…They indulged me with the 8 boxes I moved here with and put them in the detached garage. The electric teapot broke and within hours a new one showed up. Not a coffee drinker. I don’t know about you, but the days of customer service like that are long gone for the most part.Con’s - there is a L shaped staircase for the upper unit where I stayed. If you’re staying for extended stay and don’t mind shopping every few days it’s fine. Grocer down the block. Kitchen - not much of a kitchen for extended stay there is a oven with convection but I wouldn’t feel comfortable using their offered stove (looks like camping sort of stove)Ventilation - it’s Woodland Hills, it is the hottest part of the Valley. You just have to walk in and put on A/C in front room and close other doors and then when you want to sleep put on A/C unit in bedroom.

Extremely satisfied

Overall experience was very pleasant. The Host was responsive to my texts about check-in. The property was clean and well maintained. It is on a Main Street which meant easy of parking, but there was the occasional loud vehicle that sped loudly by (just an observation). The only true complaint we had was the internet speed isn’t strong enough to support the “provided” Netflix. We ended up just watching the few television channels and then phone surfing. Overall, it was a great visit and we would gladly stay again.
