A fantastic home in uzes

Fanny is a warm and welcoming host who went to so much detail helping us settle into her lovely home, we had everything we needed for our stay and it was perfectly positioned to do everything on foot. The garden was such a bonus and the garden room and the second bedroom with air con was great to have. Couldn’t think of anything that was disappointing, everything was wonderful.

A perfectly lovely spot, stone floors, beamed ceiling, beautiful, modern, well equipped kitchen opening to the outdoors, master bedroom's very comfortable bed, seated terrasse over courtyard viewing rooftops, master bath’s excellent shower and tub, as well as Fanny, the host, sense of decoration makes it a warm home. This is an ancient building, though renovated there remain winding stone steps to contend with. A few warnings, however. We chose it based upon the air conditioning. We arrived in July's oppressive heat wave. It turns out there is only a room air conditioner in the 2nd bedroom on the 3rd floor up a narrow, turning steep staircase which we chose not to ascend. (As a not particularly young couple we never intended to use the second bedroom.) The living quarters and the master bedroom are not airconditioned, only small fans which are better than nothing. It was very hot. In the evening the kitchen doors could be flung open to somewhat cool down the livingroom, but the in season mosquitoes were busy finding new targets.In addition there was no mention of the three cats to feed. Being allergic, I tried to keep them outside, but they outwitted me in less than 24 hours. They are used to coming in and out. Granted they are most amiable, especially the little one who’s fun, playful, intent to follow you around and curl up with you.There is not parking. A fair walk there is a street where one can troll for a space or a paid garage. If aware, not dealbreakers.

Bonjour Suzanne ,merci pour votre avis,mais très surprise de vos commentaires. Si vous aviez bien lu le contenu de l’annonce,il y avait bien noté que mes 3 chats étaient présents,qu’il y avait la Clim dans la chambre du 2eme étage. Concernant la canicule,chaque année,le sud de la France est touché par ces conditions météorologiques,si vous souhaitiez de la fraîcheur il fallait venir au printemps ou bien à l’automne. Et pour ce qu’il en est des poubelles,ou que vous soyez au centre ville d’uzes ,il n’y a pas de containers,on est dans un secteur sauvegardé et comme je vous l’ai bien expliqué à votre arrivée il y a des points précis (à quelques mètres de la maison ) pour jeter les poubelles. Donc les frais de menage,sont bien pour le menage . J’ai prit le temps de tout vous expliquer à votre arrivée ,notamment comment fonctionnait les lampes(télécommandes ) donc celle de la chambre fonctionnait très bien. Malgré tous vos reproches j’ai bien pris note des serviettes de toilettes et j’en ai acheté car chez nous c’est rare qu’on en utilise plusieurs chacun,et pour le livret d’accueil c’est un très bon conseil. Merci pour votre venue ,j’ai récupéré ma maison dans un parfair état ,par contre si je peux me permettre,quand vous partez de chez vous,j’imagine que vous fermez la porte?car à ma grande surprise,tout était ouvert (fenêtres,porte d’entrée,lumière allumée…),heureusement que je suis arrivée peu de temps apres votre départ Bon été à vous

Beautiful Uzes

Belle maison de ville avec magnifique jardin suspendu ouvert sur la cuisine... Top en été pour profiter d'un extérieur tranquille au centre d'Uzes. Magnifiquement décoré et équipé pour un séjour sans contraintes et très proche du centre touristique et des restaurants. Literie parfaite et chambre ouverte sur une terrasse ombragée Parking public payant en sous terrain à 4mn à pied disponible pour garer son véhicule. Très bon accueil et Merci à Fanny pour ses conseils !

Très belle location

Hôte charmante. Rien ne manque dans cette belle maison magnifiquement décorée. Rue piétonne très calme, accès direct au centre d'uzes pour profiter de cette magnifique ville. Seul petit point négatif, manque un stationnement plus près de la maison.

Danke für die Gastfreundschaft

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst. Das Haus hat viel Charme und ist komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage hilft, dass es in der oberen Etage nicht zu warm wird. Der kleine Garten und die Terrasse oben waren unsere Lieblingsorte. Und wenn es zu heiß wurde, hat uns die Gartendusche abgekühlt. Zwei Katzen haben uns gute Gesellschaft geleistet. Fanny ist sehr bemüht, alles zu erklären und ist bei Fragen gut erreichbar und kann helfen, auch wenn man nicht fließend französisch spricht.

Schönes Stadthaus in Uzès

Das Stadthaus liegt mit kleinem Garten in der Altstadt von Uzès, und ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und ruhig. Wir haben es sehr genossen Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.
