Vacasa failure
Great location, just barely adequate kitchen to cook food. Plan on eating out. The grill was out of propane, the hot tub was cold and the coffee maker’s glass carafe was broken into a dozen pieces. I communicated these issues to Vacasa the day we arrived and three days later , when we left, nothing was fixed. Vacasa was responsive but it was all lip service. They had our money so what do they really care. The only real solution they had was for me to go find a propane tank and submit a receipt for reimbursement. That’s unacceptable considering we drove past the local office to get to our property. The best thing the owners could do is remove this property from Vacasa and manage it themselves.

Smells so bad
This house smelled so badly like litter box or feces. My husband had a pretty bad allergic reaction. He had difficulty breathing while staying in the living room so he stayed in the bedroom constantly. They kept telling us someone would come and deep clean the place but that didn’t happen. Vacasa said the local team would be contacting us but that didn’t happen either. We were denied to switch to a different place because this was apparently the first time someone complained. Well that wasn’t true. The roll out bed had a huge stain, so my daughter couldn’t even sleep on it. We kept asking every day to come and clean but that didn’t happen. We had to leave a day earlier because my husband had difficulty breathing in this place. And we received no refund. All they gave us was 50% back from the cleaning fee. What a joke! Not a good customer service and won’t be renting anything with Vacasa.

Great weekend getaway
The house was just as described. It was enough room for our family of 5, close enough to everything we wanted to do, & hot tub was great! The only issues, which were not deal breakers & I’d still stay again, were the fact the the loft is super hot for whoever stays up there and the smell of sewage. I assume it is coming from the garage disposal. We bought a candle and some febreeze spray and it was fine. We would definitely stay here again!

cute ski cabin
Pros: This cabin was really close to the ski slopes. The fireplace was great to come back to after a cold day on the mountain. Some of the reviews said the beds were hard, but we thought they were comfortable. We got lucky and had snow one morning, which was beautiful. Would definitely rent this place again. The only issue we had was there was an odd smell for two out of our three days.
