About this property

Relax in Architecture! Secluded, Safe, and Serene.

Welcome to the Falk House! Recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, the Falk House is a treasure of mid-century modern design. We've transformed the original art studio into a stylish, private oasis, with expansive views of nature and Eastover’s Upper Twin Lake.

You will be central to all metro destinations, including amazing restaurants, bars, and shopping, as well as area hospitals, courts, and businesses. Long stays are ideal! Although we are not ordinarily set up for children or pets, please inquire and we can discuss the possibilities.

This is a two-acre gated estate. The guesthouse (used as the original owners’ art studio) was positioned for maximum privacy. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow abundant light and splendid views of nature. There are no window treatments. The brick-walled bathroom is connected to the studio by a glass passageway.

The Falk House is also available through a separate reservation for your special occasion, including rehearsal dinners, small weddings, and corporate retreats.

Please inquire about pets or children.

Awesome Mid-Century!!!
John was a super host! Had a mother-daughter birthday weekend and it was awesome! Plenty of shopping and restaurants just down Lakeland Drive in the Dogwood Shopping Center. Enjoyed walking our pups around the neighborhood and looking at the various architectural styles and beautiful landscapes.

Relax and Enjoy
This property is beautiful and unique. The architecture stimulates creativity and imagination. We thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by nature due to the glass walls. The hosts are proactive and accessible. The studio has beautiful furnishings and all of our needs were met by the thoughtfulness of the hosts. The environment helps you relax comfortably in between activities. Visually enjoying the natural surroundings even while sleeping was such a treat. We certainly would look forward to staying here again if we traveled to this area in the future.

Perfect Vacation Spot
We loved the architecture of the entire home and the studio where we stayed was amazing. The first night with all the windows there was a thunder storm providing a 360 experience from the bed. The studio was exactly what was described. We would stay here again when in the area because the neighborhood was quiet with large mature trees that made it feel like we were not in the city.

A secret in the heart of Jackson
I lived in the Jackson area for 7 years and never would have guessed you could find a building of this style in a quiet neighborhood with such a great location and ambience. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect.

Why they chose this property

In 1957, Meyer and Genevieve Falk employed a young architect named W.W. Easley II to create a bold design for their new Eastover home. While listening to Tychowski, Easley envisioned a giant swan, wings outstretched, coming in for a landing on the lake fronting the Falks’ property. The Falks were enthralled with Easley’s concept—a house shaped like a giant swan—and would continue their collaboration with Easley over the next three decades as they designed waterfalls, Japanese gardens, gates, fences, and, in the early 1980s, major additions of a natatorium and an art studio. We have transformed Ms. Falk's art studio into a light-filled, mid-mod retreat, private and secluded, while within minutes to all area destinations.
