Welcome to THE Little BLACK BEAR CHALET in Banff Canada.
The Little Black Bear is a private one bedroom/1bath 700 sq ft suite situated in the lower part of The Black Bear Chalet with an amazing location only 2 min walk to Banff's best cafes, shops, restaurants, nature walks, hiking trails and ski buses.
Our new space is bright, cozy and features: king size bed, private entrance with key pad, kitchenette, living room, work space, 4k smart TV Netflix , fast WiFi. Strict COVID protocols. We are an Officially Licensed Banff Accommodation property.

LOCATION: We are located on a quiet side street steps from Banff Avenue with all its excellent cafes, shops and restaurants. The IGA grocery store, liquor store, ski bus stop, covid testing site, drug store and Good Earth Cafe are a 2 min walk away.
The Bow River walking trail is a 5 min walk away, The Tunnel Mountain hiking trail is a 5 min walk away. The Banff Springs Hotel is a 15-20 min walk away. The Bow Falls are 20 min river walk away. The Sulphur Mountain Gondola is a 10min drive.

FREE PARKING: We provide free off street parking where you can leave your car for your entire stay. If you are arriving early into town please let us know as you are welcome to park with us prior to check-in.

KITCHENETTE - Contains large fridge/freezer, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, toaster, drip coffee machine, Keurig machine and french press, kettle, tea pot, ample crockery, red/white wine glasses, bread knife etc. Due to strict Town of Banff bylaws we are not able to provide a stove/oven.

Beautiful suite in the heart of downtown Banff

We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the exceptional one bedroom apartment in the heart of Banff. The hosts were very thoughtful and gave us champagne and chocolates for our anniversary trip. They thought of everything one might need on a trip( shampoo, first aid kit, sugar, tea, coffee etc). We would highly recommend this place to anyone considering a trip to Banff!

The unit was wonderful, comfy and perfectly positioned to have a wonderful experience in Banff. Off street parking was a plus. The kitchenette was perfect. Nice to have a full size fridge. Bathroom was roomy and bed was comfortable (slept well on the first night!).

Comfortable Clean Suite Close to Downtown Banff

This property is a good choice if you wish to be within easy walking distance of everything downtown. There is free 24 hour parking right next to the entrances, which is something that is worth noting for Banff. The suite is bright and modern despite being in the basement. There are lots of windows. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is comfortable and the quality of linens and pillows is good. To access the property, you have to climb up a flight of stairs and then down a flight of stairs. Not ideal if you have mobility issues. Also be aware that the landing just inside the entry door is very small and because the door opens inward, it makes for a precarious situation when loaded down with bags. Overall, would very much recommend this property.

Homey little suite

We rented the basement suite of a larger rental. Nicely decorated and bright. Very quiet neighbourhood and close to Banff Avenue. Parking could be a little tight if all three spots are in use.
