located within a kilometer of the beach pool and whirlpool comfortable beds quiet neighborhood- road nearby with little traffic, light sleepers like myself could be a little bothered, but it‘s pretty quiet between 22:00 and 7:00 (very few cars)

Very pleasant stay and great communication

The stay was very nice. The house is clean and quite new. The communication with the owner was really good and speaking English was no issue. I can recommend everyone to stay here.

Perfect stay

Perfect house for our stay! We enjoyed it from tje very first minute. We travelled with our 5 year old and new born and had everything for both kids in the house. Everything is as described and its great for your stay at Montalivet. Take your bikes with you though! Thanks for the great holiday

Great stay and the property was clean and tidy. Good location although you really need a car or bike, as the beach and shops are a good 20 minute walk away. Montalivet is a lovely town and lots of shops and the market. Soulac-sur-Mer 20 mins drive away is also lovely. Highly recommended

Dear Sirs, the location is great. Even if it is directly at the street, the traffic is ok, the windows are tight. Everything was very comfortable, clean, handled with care and nice. Especially the terrace, the pool and spa but also the structure of the house. We loved it. Unfortunately the house next place is high so the sundowner is soon. Anyway we loved it. All aspects that could but opitimized we explained to the concierge, we guess these are simple things. Due to the fact we had a lot of difficulties to get there (defect of car) we were two days late. But the owner of the house allowed to extend without aadditional costs, so just switched the whole booking. That was perfect and thanks to the owner, that was really fair and gentil! Schickes Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist sehr neu und liegt in einer Ferienhaussiedlung, die gerade im Ausbau ist. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und auch die Straße zum Strand stört nicht. Im Haus können 6 Personen optimal Urlaub machen - das Haus ist entsprechend eingerichtet. Bettwäsche kann man für ca. 50 Euro pro Woche vom Concierge-Service, der das Haus betreut, mieten. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet mit Kochfeld, Herd, Geschirrspüler und Mikrowelle und allen Geräten, Töpfen, Pfannen, die man so benötigt. Küchenhandtücher, Spülmittel, Tabs, Mülltüten und ein paar Gewürze waren vorhanden. Besonders schön ist die überdachte Terrasse mit Liegestühlen und der Sitzbank und auch der Whirlpool ist angenehm zum Entspannen nach einem Strandtag. Bis zum Zentrum von Montalivet, wo es viele Restaurants und Läden sowie die überwachten Strandbereiche gibt, sind es ca. 3 km. Mit dem Auto kein Problem, da Parkplätze zentral am Strand ausreichend zur Verfügung stehen. Montalivet ist ein klassischer, recht lebhafter, Urlaubsort. Sehr viele Weingüter mit Direktverkauf liegen einige Kilometer im Landesinnern in Richtung Bordeaux. Die Anreise über Bordeaux erfolgt über eine Landstraße, oder man nutzt die Fähre in Royan, wodurch man ca. 120 km einspart. Zeitlich ist beides etwa gleich. Die Fähre fuhr zur Hauptsaison ca. alle 50 Minuten, einer Reservierung oä. bedurfte es nicht. Wir waren im Vorfeld unsicher, ob es Probleme mit der Abwicklung geben würde, da wir einen französischsprachigen Vertrag unterzeichnen und eine Kaution von 1500 Euro leisten mussten. Die Bedenken haben sich nicht verwirklicht und wir bekamen die in bar gezahlte Kaution am Abreisetag anstandslos zurück. Am Anreisetag wurden uns die Schlüssel von der sehr freundlichen Inhaberin des Conciergeservice übergeben, mit der wir die konkrete Ankunftszeit kurz vorher klärten und während der Anreise mehrfach abglichen. Ganz unproblematisch und sehr entgegenkommend. Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich empfehlenswert, und wir würden dort auch selbst wieder Urlaub machen.
