In the heart of the old town is the apartment "Zum alten Landrat" in a listed stone house.

It is a duplex apartment with an internal staircase for the upper floor. The rooms are spacious and bright. The partially exposed roof beams create a cozy atmosphere.

In the sleeping area there are two double bedrooms and one triple bedroom. In addition, a folding bed can be placed on an open gallery.

The kitchen is large and fully equipped, including a dishwasher, oven and microwave.

There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower tray. In addition, there is a separate toilet with sink.

The living / dining area has satellite TV and ample seating.

Die Ferienwohnung war im großen und ganzen gut. Die Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es war aber alles was wir benötigt haben vorhanden. Das einzige, was in der Anzeige nicht erwähnt wurde war, dass die Wohnung nicht für gehbeeinträchtigte Menschen geeignet ist. Sie befindet sich in der dritten Etage ohne Fahrstuhl. Die Armaturen müssten mal überprüft werden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief reibungslos.Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in Monschau, eine Parkmöglichkeit befand sich ca. 300 m entfernt. Eine Parkvignette kann man sich bei der Tourist Information holen.

Schick und zentral

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Monschau. Man sollte jedoch beachten, dass die Wohnung im Obergeschoss liegt. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und schick. Es ist genug Platz für 8 Personen verteilt auf drei Schlafzimmer. Zwei Minuspunkte zu dem sonst sehr schönen Aufenthalt muss ich leider vergeben. Zum einen ist die Kommunikation bzgl. W-LAN nicht sehr glücklich verlaufen. Dies sollte man besser im Vorfeld klären. Zum anderen sind die Matratzen in den Betten sehr dünn und man hat das Gefühl direkt auf dem Lattenrost zu schlafen. Abgesehen davon haben wir die Reise nach Monschau und unseren Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung des Unternehmens Roder sehr genossen. Vielen Dank!
