Great place by the river

Amazing cabin by the river, everything we needed and super cosy warm with the wood burner. Instructions about the property were perfect and covered everything we needed, easy to find. Location is very quiet but within a short drive of a number of towns with everything you need, plus a number of supermarkets. Loved this place, hope to return soon.

A nice, tiny house at a wonderfull location. Great neighbours. Very helpfull. Good contact with our host Jacqueline. Nice surroundings, beautiful walks. Kids loved to sup on the river.

Beautiful Setting

The property was lovely, right on the river and beautiful flowers on the grounds. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying the views. The cabin was as described, small and rustic, but provided all of the necessities and was comfortable for our family. One thing to note is that towels are not provided, so plan ahead.

Het chalet is eenvoudig en klein, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Het heeft een ruime tuin en het uitzicht op de Maas is prachtig.
Ochtendmist op de Maas.
Zicht op het chalet vanaf het fiets/wandelpad langs de Maas. Een aanrader!

We hebben een goed verblijf gehad.Voor een vakantieverblijf was het groot genoeg. In de keuken was alles aanwezig, helaas geen afzuigkap.Daar we heel mooi weer (lees warm) hebben gehad warmde het chalet erg op. Dit was vooral lastig in de avond en ‘s nachts.Lekker schaduw terras.Tuin volledig afgeschermd, de buren hebben 2 honden.Vliegenramen (en deur) zou handig zijn ivm vliegen en muggen.Er was tv aanwezig met satelliet, Franse zenders. Zoals we wisten was er geen wifi.

Het huisje ligt op een prachtige locatie (5).Ons eindoordeel (3,5) is gebaseerd op de nogal eenvoudige sanitaire voorzieningen en de zeer lage deuropeningen. Voor lange mensen is deze woning niet aan te bevelen.

He came with 2 unnanounced dogs and did not repect the conditions of acceptance of dogs in the chalet although informed of these before his stay. The carpet and blankets had to be washed afterwards. The dogs were left alone in the chalet to bark all day and the neighbours had to complain.
