Beautiful well stocked property. We spent a week at this stunning property and thoroughly enjoyed our staycation. Maghen has thought of everything! The beds are comfortable and the house is thoughtfully laid out. We will definitely visit again.

This is our 2nd stay at this fabulous house. Perfect for our family get together. Love seeing the cousins having so much fun in the pool. We saw dolphins from the dock! It’s is wonderful sitting out there. The house is warm and comfortable with so much room. It is very clean. We enjoyed the Patriots/Jax game on Sunday outside by the pool. We all just love it there and will be back!Maghen is the best host! She consistently communicates and gave us so much information about what to do in the area. There is so many places to go and good restaurants nearby. She is always so helpful. Highly recommend this property.

If your budget allows, this is the place to stay. We felt it was a great value. It was beautifully decorated, lavish and comfortable furnishings with nice touches everywhere. The communication was spot on. There was a well stocked goodie basket when we arrived filled with an array of snacks…the kids dove into that immediately . Ample pool supplies, towels, as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. plenty of fishing equipment to fish off the dock which was a blast. We housed 3 generations and everyone was happy…I guess that is the best compliment of all. Book your stay you won’t regret it.

The house was just as presented! Very clean and comfortable! Meghan was so accommodating and went out of her way to make our stay extra special. A great place to stay with indoor pool, hot tub, ping pong table etc!

Monday Night Football Trip

Highly recommend this luxurious house with every amenity you and your family could need. Conveniently located and private enough for a peaceful getaway. My family and I are definitely planning to return to this paradise in Jacksonville. Owners communicated well and are very hospitable. Check in was a breeze. A can’t miss stay!

A great getaway

The house was immaculate. We spent most of the time out by the pool playing games and watching ships go by. It was very entertaining. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen. We did a few outings to Amelia Island which is not far away. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Meghan!

Amazing home!

The home was immaculate, the sleeping rooms very nicely furnished and comfortable, the game room was an added plus! You can’t beat the location on the River. Kids were fishing off the dock in their pajamas at sunrise. The pool and hot tub added hours of fun and relaxation.

Amazing time!

This property was the perfect family house! The host was so responsive and helpful with recommendations on things to do. I also loved that the property had everything you would need for your stay including sunblock, detergent, dish sponge, paper towels, etc. But our absolute favorite part was watching the dolphins and boats everyday off the dock. The view was incredible!!! We would definitely stay again!

Spectacular Home & Host

We had an adult family reunion at The Island Estate and had an amazing time! Agree with many other reviews that the pictures do not fully capture how beautiful, spacious, clean, and well-equipped this home is for a visit. Maghen coordinated everything wonderfully, including all the information needed for a safe and comfortable stay as well as stocking us with snacks! We highly recommend The Island Estate and look forward to returning soon!

Best host ever!

Our family has been renting homes all over the country for every occasion, business and pleasure. For the last decade we have rented homes instead of staying in hotels. This is one of the best homes we've stayed in and the host is by far the best host ever! From the welcome goodies to the entire home, they are the best. Amazing spot for a Fantastic Family Reunion

Meghan’s place is like a private 5 star resort! Everything is new and sparking clean! Meghan is extremely attentive and available for any questions that may arise. Everything you need to have a fun vacation is on the property. The screened in pool area was where we spent most of our time as we were traveling with a 10 month old. We will definitely be back!

River house

The house worked well for our family which included several generations. The enclosed pool was great, it allowed us to be outside without the insects. We encountered several maintenance issues with the house while there. The response from the owner was very fast and the issues were quickly taken care of. We had a good week.

Everything about our experience at The Island Estate was perfect. This home had beautiful decor, plenty of room for everyone for meals and for relaxing, well-stocked kitchen with many extra amenities, comfortable clean bedrooms and baths, and fantastic outdoor spaces, including a great pool and hot tub, and a massive dock area where we enjoyed the spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset, as well as dolphins and ships cruising past. We even witnessed a sea turtle swim up to the dock supports. Our host, Maghen, was wonderful. We entered and saw huge Welcome basket and precious personalized sign, and felt immediately at home. She told us about all of the outdoor accessories for our use and where to find them in the house. She also offered great tips on local restaurants, beaches, activities, groceries and delivery services. This home met, then quickly surpassed, our expectations. We would love to stay here again.
