About this property

Private apartment in a cottage located in the heart of Delray Beach! Kitchen is equipped with anything one might need or want to cook a full dinner in comfort of your own vacation place. The cottage features two bedrooms with a queen size bed in a master bedroom, one full and a twin in the guest bedroom. Some cottages have a couch that turns into either two single beds or one queen bed. Flat screen smart TV and free WIFI. Every cottage is equipped with outdoor space featuring table, chairs and a private grill. The property is in a lush green setting that will make you feel like you are in a garden rather then only minutes away from Down Town. If you decide to bring a pet we do have a fully gated park/dog run on the property.
If you do wish to venture out, the famous Atlantic Ave is within walking distance. Atlantic Ave. with fabulous restaurants, bars and night life, shopping, art galleries, tennis courts, tours, etc. The beach is just a short walk from Atlantic Ave.

Cute clean place

Cute place just about 10-15 min walk from top of the main drag (Atlantic) in Delray. 2 bedrooms with ample space to sleep and both beds in the right bedroom were big enough for teens. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Park was directly across the street with playground and large field. Dog run was located directly within the complex of houses We had no issues with the unit or anything. Enjoyed the stay Only recommendation is bring longer phone charger cords as the outlets are limited and not in most convenient spots but we made It work just fine. Host left us a very cute little chocolate treat, popcorn bag and coffee as welcome gift She responded quickly to all communication

Exactly what we needed

We stayed at this property for 3 weeks with our two dogs. It was exactly as described. Nice fenced area for dogs. Walking distance to Atlantic ave. We saw a previous review saying that it was a bad neighborhood, and the reviewer implied that he needed to carry a weapon for safety. This was definitely not the case, we felt safe at all times including walking home late at night. We never had any communication with the owner, so can’t speak to responsiveness (we never needed anything). Overall a great vacation.

From the time we pulled in to the time we left we were scared. My daughter wanted us to leave. When we pulled in there was loud Jamaican type music playing about 100 down the road from a guy playing music in his car. About another 50-75 feet further down was a group of 4 guys in hooded sweatshirts with their hoods up on there head. Would not think much of this if it was not Florida in the daytime or their hoods were down. Had someone stay by the car while i took everything inside. Once I was done my wife and I ran to the store to pick up a few things. As we were leaving a little girl was playing in the Courtyard in front of our door and I smelled marijuana and looked over and the girls dad was smoking a joint. I sat with my gun strapped to my side the whole time I was there. Maybe we were just there at the wrong time, but that is what happened to us. Was never so glad to leave a location. Also, the unit we stayed in the shower drain is plugged and the base will fill up a little while showering. Got over my ankles by the time I finished my shower. Paint was peeling off the walls around the sink light in the bathroom as well. Unit was old and floors were slippery with the tiles they used on the floor. If it was not so scary there, it would have been ok but cost was to high for the conditions.

This is a great spot to stay, especially if you don't plan on spending much time staying in. Great location, short walk to Atlantic Ave (just don't take the route by the train tracks) and not even a 10 min drive to the beach. The kitchen has anything you could need for a short stay. The host is super communicative and leaves an entire binder of places to visit for activities and food!
