A perfect holiday home to visit the Champagne Region

Plenty of space to accommodate a family, everything was clean and well supplied. Check-in process was easy and the location is great. Whilst a car is preferrable you could manage with uber, the local town doesn't offer any supermarkets but it's only a short run to Epernay, certainly would come back!

The property is well appointed and excellently located. The owner produces her own Champagne which is well worth a try and Legras & Haas directly across the road also produce some very nice Champagne. The immediate area is very nice for some short walks through the vineyards and Epernay is very close.

Nice house in ideal location

Beautifully decorated house and very well equipped. As it’s so close to the road, if you want to open the windows, it’s a little noisy. The outdoor space needs a bit of TLC as in our opinion, it wasn’t the most inviting place to sit. Overall a great base for touring the Champagne region.

Wonderful visit to Campagne

Great place but need a car if travelling to Epernay. Very comfortable especially for children. Four good sized bedrooms. Floors a bit creaky upstairs. No air conditioning. Modern and well equipped kitchen. Overall good place to stay.

Visit to Champagne

Two concerns with our stay. We visited in August for four days when weather was sunny and hot. The property was uncomfortably hot especially at night. The landlord refused to provide fans which would have been a significant improvement. Also the Vrbo site indicates a 2pm check in time and we planned accordingly. The landlord informed us the evening before checking in the property was not available until 4pm. A small but annoying issue as it left 8 of us with luggage in tow waiting to check in.

Monsieur, En réponse à votre commentaire, sachez qu’il est bien indiqué dans l’annonce que la maison n’est pas climatisée et que la disponibilité de celle-ci est à partir de 16h. Vous n’étiez pas obligé d’ouvrir tout grand toutes les fenêtres ainsi que les volets en pleine journée face au soleil quand il fait 35 dehors. Par contre la maison n’était pas propre, tous les verres, plastiques et cartons étaient à même le sol dans la cuisine. C’est moi qui m’occupe du ménage complet de celle-ci.

Week-end en Champagne

La maison est parfaitement située à quelques kilomètres d’Epernay, au programme visites culturelles et viticoles, et retour à la maison qui est parfaite pour 4 couples. La cour intérieure est génial pour y garer en sécurité les motos, nous avons passé deux soirées à l’extérieur avec des bons BBQ. Nous y retournerons !

Frühjahrsaufenthalt in Chouilly

Wir als 5-köpfige Familie mit Hund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geschmachvoll und gut mit neuen Möbeln eingerichtet. Im Hof kann man das Auto sicher parken. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Schöne Bäder. Ruhige Nächte ohne Durchgangsverkehr.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons loué ce gîte pour passer un moment en famille, et grâce au logement, à ses nombreux équipements en excellent état (cuisine neuve, salle de bain rénovée récemment, chambres disposant de grands lits confortables et de zones de rangement, ...), et les petites attentions des propriétaires (capsules de cafés, huile, vinaigre, liquide vaisselle, etc.) nous avons pu profiter pleinement de notre séjour. De plus les propriétaires sont très disponibles, et réactifs pour répondre à nos questions. Le village est calme et dispose de lieux de balade agréable. Un centre commercial est à peine à 10 minutes qui permet de se ravitailler. En bref, un excellent séjour grâce à ce logement très bien situé en Champagne ! Toute la famille a été enchantée.
