Angie was a fabulous host - very responsive and flexible. The houseboat is adorable and very well equipped with everything you need. The waters and snacks were greatly appreciated. We really loved kayaking down the Knoxville River and the golf cart was great for luggage. Hope to be back again
Super cute and clean house boat with many ways to enjoy nature and the river!
Angie was a very accommodating host! House boat was clean and furnished and decorated perfectly! Fun place to get away and do something different than a normal rental house. Was great to be able to use the golf cart, paddle boats, and kayaks. Also had bicycles available to use with a nice trail right by the marina. Awesome outdoor space to relax and enjoy nature. Would defiantly stay again!
This place was absolutely perfect to celebrate my birthday in a chill setting. My friend and I had no idea what to expect but this was just simply perfect! Our host Angie was very nice and very informative on things to do. I’ll definitely do this again!
This stay was the perfect combo of being away from it all, but also downtown. It’s a short walk to restaurants, it’s on the greenway with two bikes provided, there are three different decks on the boat, and the neighbors are quiet and friendly. Angie is a delightful host; immediate response to questions, a concise tour to show you how to navigate everything, and a willingness to help in any way. The golf cart is also really helpful for checking in and out. Beds/bedding are high quality, plenty of nice towels. We hope to visit again.
This was our first time to stay on a houseboat and I want to do it again and again! We stayed 3 nights and this place cannot be beat. We enjoyed the front and back decks to enjoy coffee and to end the day enjoying the views. I was so surprised how quiet it was! So close to downtown but no noise! We enjoyed walking to dinners at Calhoun and Ruth’s Chris and Namas downtown. Angie is the best host as she made sure we had everything we needed. She picked us up at our vehicle and brought our luggage to the boat. Then we were able to use the golf cart to pack up. The bed was super comfortable and the boat was super clean. Loved the coffee maker as it brews kerig and/or regular brew.
Would love to come back and stay right here!
You won’t be lacking anything here!
There are 3 boats side by side. This one is an older boat but very well remodeled. A queen bed and bunk beds to sleep. It has a full “Gally” but more like a residential kitchen than what is normally on a boat. Very Clean!! Nice Hot shower with water pressure like at home. It is a typical Marina. Obviously on the river. It’s a short walk from parking lot. Don’t take your bags because there is a golf cart to go back and bring your bags right to the boat. Same when leaving. It is Very quiet and peaceful with great view! This is set up better than I expected with full city water full electric service. And heat and air that works so well you gotta be careful not to leave it too low when you get back you’ll want heat! Which brought it back up in 3 minutes so no worries in the winter. If you enjoy your peace like we do it’s way better than a motel for same money. There is a Ruth Chris a few feet one way and Calhoun’s just a short walk which is a local favorite both have river views. You can Uber down town in 5 minutes or walk in about 20 minutes. If you’re thinking about it just do it! Owner is very available if you need anything. And it really shows she cares about your experience staying.
This house boat is a 10 out of 10 and I'd recommend it to anyone that want's to stay on a boat verses a cabin. This was our first experience staying on a house boat and it was an awesome stay. Our host Angie was so welcoming and helpful in letting us know what was available to do in the area.
I shared this property with my daughter and two grandchildren. We all loved it. It’s location to downtown is amazing. Angie, the property manager, was the best I’ve ever experienced. Very very clean and well stocked. Highly recommend this boat.
Angie has thought of every detail! Two couples that came in for a long Tennessee football weekend and made awesome memories! Location and amenities were top notch!
We really enjoyed our time on the houseboat and it was such a fun adventure for the kids! Angie was so friendly and communicative, and the space was clean and well thought out. It was a unique stay, and we appreciated the close proximity to downtown and the trolley. Thanks, Angie!
Came for concert and went to Ruth Chris to eat. So peaceful ! Fed geese and lived the cute boat. Trust me this houseboat is perfect. Got to meet owner in person ever day. Loved it and she is so great. Hugged her and left food for my goose when we left. Will be back for sure. You are great.
We had a fantastic stay on the houseboat. Angie thought of everything that we could possibly need and was the most gracious host. We had plenty of indoor space, but the outdoor space was my favorite. Every morning I enjoyed my coffee up top overlooking the river. We had hoped to take the kayaks out but ran out of time during our busy visit. Next time! We will definitely be back.
Angie was a wonderful host! She creates a place for the perfect stay. Everything about this houseboat was luxurious! Comfy beds and furniture. All the linens were high quality. The decor and finishes in the houseboat were stunning. Many different choices for outdoor seating with views. We utilized the provided golf cart for our stuff, kayaks and bikes. Angie has thought of every little detail for your stay. This houseboat is minutes from UT campus. We walked both days to Market Square for meals and drinks. We took a five minute walk and toured James White Fort. Ruth Chris, Calhouns and a Greenway are just steps away from the boat. Everyone at this dock was super friendly. We look forward to our future stays!
We loved our 1st stay on a houseboat as a family. There were 3 in our group and our boat was very comfortable. Good beds and the A/C kept things cool. Close to downtown and restaurants. Angie is an impeccable hostess! We really enjoyed that her 3 rental boats are together and created a social environment where we met and talked with our boat neighbors which is a unique experience in this day and age.
Angie was the hostess with the mostest 😊 In fact, she is the best host we have ever had at a short term rental. It was our first time ever staying on a houseboat and her place exceeded our expectations. All three of her boats are exceptionally well done. It was a home away from home with an awesome Waterview. The location was convenient to market Square and downtown. We enjoyed riding the bikes on the Greenway and kayaking up and down the river. The mornings were perfect on the rooftop with coffee, a book and a view. We will definitely be back and bring friends with us.
First time overnight on a houseboat. We had all the comforts of home. It was a great experience.

About the host
Hosted by Angie Wilson
Hello! I'm Angie! I've been a dental hygienist for 26 years and decided to take a break to branch out into the super fun world of hosting. I currently have 3 boats available for rental. I love meeting new people and providing a fun, unique alternative to traditional hotels/condos. I strive for 5 star properties with an exceptionally clean/disinfected accommodation and attention to details.
Why they chose this property
This houseboat is a very unique stay! It may not be for everyone so if you're expecting 10' ceilings and complete solitude please don't book it. But if you're looking for a different fun experience directly on the water, then prepare for a stay that will be like no hotel or condo can match!
What makes this property unique
The boat is within walking distance to downtown Knoxville, Market Square, and historic Gay Street. It has been renovated for a cozy feel with all new appliances, furniture, and bedding.
