Welcome to this spacious 80 m² apartment, fully renovated and carefully decorated, ideal for accommodating up to 4 people. Located in the heart of Tours, on Place Jean Jaurès, you will enjoy direct access to the tram and be only 2 minutes walk from the train station.

This bright apartment, on the 4th floor with elevator, offers you all modern comforts, as well as a private covered parking for peace of mind.

At your disposal:
A large living area with lounge corner and corner sofa, dining area with table for 6 people, TV with Orange channels, fiber wifi ideal for remote work.
A spacious, well-equipped kitchen with filter coffee maker and Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and induction hobs, washing machine with drying rack. You can have lunch in the kitchen or in the living room.
1 bedroom with 160x200 bed and office space overlooking the garden
1 bedroom with 140x190 bed and access to a small terrace with outdoor furniture (1 table and 2 chairs)
A large bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilet.

At your disposal: towel kit (one bath towel and one hand towel per person) provided according to the number of people, beds are made upon your arrival.

Cleaning products, household linen and welcome kit for a first breakfast (coffee, tea, sugar)

You can move around Tours on foot or by tram, as a car is not necessary to visit the city.

Lovely location in Tours

We had a wonderful time in Tours and the rental made our trip great due to its proximity to the train, restaurants, grocery, markets and the shopping district. Great communication with Isabelle and Michelle who greeted us. We would definitely return to this property.

This apartment is in the heart of Tours and so accessable. The trams is literelly outside your doorstep. Great host, easy check in. Amazing space, comfortable and clean. Would def stay again.

Sufficient for our Needs

The property is spacious and located centrally in Tours. We found it adequate for our needs and it was accurately represented by the host. The check in process was a bit rough. We had arranged a 1 hour time slot well in advance of our arrival. As we were driving toward the city, our host texted to request a specific time. We complied but she kept us waiting for an hour after the agreed upon time due to some issues on her end. While this might be understandable, in this case, it was very stressful as we were supposed to park in a garage that we could not enter without a fob. There was no place to wait on the street as there were Tram tracks (we nearly were hit by the Tram) and we had to pull into the sidewalk opening at the garage door. Luckily, someone came along who had and entrance fob and let us in. The garage was very small, dark, and difficult to maneuver. I would recommend that the host could prepare guests by advising about the Tram and arranging for entrance to the garage if unable to meet guests on time. Another unexpected issue was that the day prior to check out, we received a list of things to do from the host so we would not be charged a penalty. They included stripping the beds, emptying the trash, and taking it to the basement. We have never been asked to do this in a VRBO. In fact, in this case, our price included a "Linen Fee" and a "Cleaning Fee". Perhaps it should be noted in advance that these fees do not include all services.

En réponse à votre commentaire, nous souhaitons préciser que nous demandons une heure précise d'arrivée car nous ne sommes pas sur place. SI vous nous prévenez en étant devant la porte, il faut nous laisser le temps d'arriver.. Concernant les instructions de départ, nous vous rappelons que vous n'avez pas réservé une chambre d'hôtel mais un appartement. Nous demandons en effet de défaire les lits (qui sont faits à votre arrivée), de ranger votre vaisselle et de descendre vos déchets dans les containers situés au niveau de parking ou est stationné votre voiture. En aucun cas nous ne demandons aux locataires de faire le ménage.. Chaque propriétaire est libre de fixer ses instructions de départ, ce n'est pas VRBO qui décide..

Fabulous central apartment

The apartment is spacious, light and very, very comfortable. Our host, Isabelle was absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable about the city and region. The location of the apartment is excellent, with many bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Having secure parking is a real bonus. We would highly recommend this apartment and are looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Bon séjour à Tours

Le logement est très bien situé en centre ville et parfaitement équipée. Cependant , pour un logement noté comme étant accessible PMR il y a tout de même un petit bémol. L'accessibilité à la salle de bain et à la douche n'est pas possible pour une personne en fauteuil roulant (porte trop étroite et marche pour la douche) Le parking attribué à l'appartement ne convient pas pour un gros véhicule et la sortie sur les voies de tram est particulièrement dangereuse mais il y a des parking public à proximité qui compensent cet inconvénient. Petite suggestion : il serait souhaitable d'avoir 2 jeux de clés car lorsque il y a 2 couples, c'est un peu compliqué si nous ne faisons pas les mêmes activités ou visites. Malgré ces 2 remarques, nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

En réponse à vos commentaires, nous souhaitons apporter les précisions suivantes : - nous avons précisé dans l'annonce que le logement est accessible en fauteuil roulant (ascenseur, pas de marches) mais non équipé spécifiquement PMR. Cela vous a même été spécifié lors de nos échanges téléphoniques (avec photo de la douche à l'appui). - le parking est adapté à une voiture de taille normale et non à un gros véhicule, la photo de la place de parking est dans l'annonce. Vous n'avez pas évoqué votre besoin lors de votre réservation. - la sortie sur les voies de tramway ne présente aucun danger si vous sortez à une vitesse normale du parking. - nous ne remettons qu'un seul jeu de clés, sauf demande expresse lors de la réservation, ce qui n'a pas été votre cas. En vous remerciant encore de votre séjour.
