It did the job

We felt as though the ad for this property oversold it. This house comfortably sleeps 7 people. 3 queen beds and 1 person can comfortably sleep on the pull out couch. Luckily for us 9, we brought a couple air mattresses from home. The sectional couch springs are sticking up and it’s not even comfortable to sit on, let alone sleep. The kitchen is not stocked well, no mixing bowls or even a wine opener! The pots and pans were not sufficient and the plates are plastic. One should also mention that the owners live in the back house, which is fine, but should be mentioned in other places than the reviews. A tad uncomfortable for a group of ladies. One of the bathrooms, we could not get the shower to work. Overall, the house did the job for 1 night but I’m glad it was only 1 night. This property could use a little TLC and more accurate description in ad.

Not up to Standards

We arrived late into the evening, the front lights were not on so we could not see the address we had to use our cell phones to see , then as we tried to turn on the porch light they did not work. there were several lights inside the home that did not work, the bathroom door would not stay closed we had to tell the others not to walk in in others while using it. there were several holes in the walls, stains on the mattress we slept on, door was not painted it was very discolored, the vent in the ceiling was falling down from ceiling, there were no extra blankets, and there was two gentlemen standing next to our vehicles that were parked in front telling me they rented the place as well, when it turned out that they had rented the back cottage and were not giving any instruction how to get in we had to figure it out ourselves.

Home with a slight catch

We booked this home for our family of 10. It was advertised to sleep 10. For us, this means either everyone has a bed or pullout sofa to sleep on. Unfortunately, not this home. It has 3 bedrooms with queens so enough for 6 adults but the futon was small and we had to squeeze to get 2 adults on this. Then guess what, no other beds or pullouts for our other 2 adult children. Where to sleep?? We ended up finding an air mattress which is not a bed or pullout! The dishes had to be washed before we used them. They had food caked on them when we got them out of the cabinets and as other reviews did mention, absolutely not enough supplies to really cook what you want when having a large family. We did not get our check in instructions until before check in and only because we contacted the owner. There are too many other things to mention. We would not stay here again. For the price we paid, we are very disappointed with the home.

Great family home

We had a great time hanging out with family at Hon’s home. We utilized everything except the washer and dryer. The home was spacious and clean. The kitchen table was too small for our group of 9 when we ate inside, but there are picnic tables outside that were big enough to fit us all. If you like to cook most meals like we did, the kitchen may not have all that you need. It is adequate for a small group but we needed more mixing bowls of different sizes. There were a couple basic items missing but after contacting Hon, we were able to get them pretty quickly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you Hon!

Very pleasant

The house was very clean and worked perfectly for our visit. Just a note to others who may be visiting here: 2 of the bedrooms are attached so it might not be suitable for 3 couples. But for families with kids, or 2 couples, (as we were) it would be fine. Well located in a quiet neighborhood.
