Happy Camper - Camp Eagles Nest- pet friendly, fire pit, walk to courts

In the heart of Eagles Nest, you'll find Camp Eagles Nest, with its collection of cozy cabins with stellar views of the mountains and leaves. One bath has a large, tiled shower, and the other a tiled tub/shower combo.

On the back deck you'll have peaceful views of the Camp Eagles Nest amenities, including the pickleball, basketball, and slightly over the hill, tennis courts. A World Away!
Happy Camper at Camp Eagle's Nest is a fantastic place for two couples. The two bedrooms offer the same amenities, so there is no fighting over who gets the better room, and the cleanliness of the space is top-notch. We went during the winter, so many of the community amenities weren't usable, but there sure are a lot of them! The whole Eagle's Nest community is beautiful; every house is different from the last, and it was gorgeous seeing it all in the snow. The roads were also quickly plowed and salted, so we never felt like we wouldn't be able to get out and check out the ski resorts and towns. The hot tub was also very clean and nice, although it was uncovered, which we overlooked and struggled with a bit in the rain/snow. My one issue with the place is the distance. While Eagle's Nest as a community is very near Banner Elk and the ski resorts, this particular cabin is a good 15-20 minutes drive from the entrance, essentially killing any "quick trips" to pick up something you might have forgotten at the store (there is a cashless Dollar General on the property, if you're into that). Regardless, as long as you plan ahead, the distance to the house won't be much of an issue, and you'll certainly have a great time! Word of warning, though: don't trust Google Maps! It may attempt to route you to one of the resident entrances that you cannot use as a visitor. Make sure to get directions to the Eagle's Nest community entrance before switching to your cabin's address!

Beautiful home!
We loved the house and had a great time! Only problem was that we spent the entire 2 days in dense fog! Couldn't see a thing, so that was disappointing!

Beautiful Cabin
We loved our stay at the Bear Paw lodge. It’s the cabin feel with modern day luxuries. Very beautifully done. Felt like a home away from home. Absolutely loved it! The community is great! Lots of activities and fields for sports. Will definitely be visiting again!!
