Welcome to Chalet Alpine!

Chalet Alpine, an exquisitely decorated A-frame cabin in the famed Hound Ears Club, Blowing Rock, North Carolina, welcomes you! Centrally located among the communities of Blowing Rock, Boone, Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, and minutes from the Blueridge Parkway and ASU, our European-style Chalet Alpine is tucked away in one of the most sought-after communities in the High Country.

Fully remodeled, Chalet Alpine offers charming European alpine cabin décor, top-of the-line new double-hung windows, custom carpentry, natural stone, cozy fireplace and expansive deck.

Established on an impressive boulder formation, with its landmark towering chimney and iconic cedar shake roof to the interior rustic furniture from a local artisan, Chalet Alpine is professionally designed and tastefully decorated with charm in mountain cabin style.

The living room is perfect for relaxing with upscale leather sofa and chairs, gas stone fireplace and a 60" flat screen smart TV. The kitchen has been designed with custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and everything you would need to create memorable meals and dining experiences – from glassware and cookware to kitchen gadgets, nothing has been left out. The rustic dining table easily accommodates 8 and the kitchen island an additional 2. On the deck you will find an Adirondack chair set and table, plenty of additional patio furniture and an outdoor dining table as well as a gas grill.

The ensuite master bath boasts a Kohler bathtub and slate shower combo.

UPSTAIRS you will find two bedrooms and an additional full bathroom. The larger bedroom features two plush queen beds, a 55” flat screen TV, two reading chairs and a desk. Also upstairs is a third cozy bedroom with a plush full-size bed overlooking the mountain landscape, its own flat TV and a "bird's nest," which has proven to be a children's favorite. The cozy bathroom with its frameless glass shower is also located upstairs.

Wonderful Cabin
Our family really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful and located in a really nice community. We were impressed by how well the homes blended into the landscape. The hosts did a nice job of staying in touch and answering questions for us. The cabin is a short drive to both Boone and Blowing Rock, but also feels appropriately remote - just what you would want in a cabin experience!

Adorable Cabin
Great visit for our family of four. Thoroughly enjoyed the gas fireplace. Neighborhood was amazing! Only suggestion is that we needed more lamps/lighting. Otherwise a great little place to stay while skiing. Host went above and beyond!! Great visit!

Great mountain home and awesome location!
We had a fantastic stay right before Christmas. The house has a great setup with the 3 bedrooms, a comfortable living room with fireplace, and a nice size kitchen and dining area. Although it was chilly, we also enjoyed the spacious outdoor deck. The location is perfect to visit both Sugar/Beech and get over to Blowing Rock. Owners were very responsive and even retrieved and returned a forgotten item for us. Five star experience all around!

Cozy family getaway
Charming and comfy. A perfect place for our "college kid" to rest and recharge before heading back to school. We were not able to operate the fireplace. That said- we will plan to stay again and know that, that glitch will be solved. Thank you so much for a great weekend retreat!
