Great place at a great price, and you CANNOT beat the awesome sunsets at On Golden Pond #5!

5BR 4BA. Right on the lagoon. Community dock, beach, pool. Carefree days for up to 14, and a great deal too!

On Golden Pond #5, aka OGP5! A wonderful house is located directly on the waterfront of Little Lagoon with easy access to the private community dock, beach, and pool.

Your family or friends will love it here. There is a bedroom on the main level with a queen bed and sofa sleeper. There is an additional sleeper sofa in the living room. Upstairs, there are four additional bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom with a king bed and its own whirlpool tub and separate shower.

In addition to the awesome lagoon front features, like the community dock and small beach, access to the Gulf is via the 12th street public access which is a short direct walk up 12th (right next to our Seafoam home!).

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

Our favorite house so far!

The house was in a great location. We love being able to fish from the dock and walk the short distance to the beach. The community pool was terrific too. This was our favorite house so far in all of our trips to the beach!

Sand in my boots

We had a great time. We were able to be with my wife's brothers and sister and their families and we had a great time and had plenty of room. I loved the kitchen and living area on the main floor. We were able to all be together, but not right on top of each other. We had a great trip.

Perfect home for large family

We very much enjoyed our stay. Everyone had their own space and the open floor plan was perfect to host our family of 6 for Christmas dinner. The kitchen has all the basic necessities (equipment and dish-wise) for meal preparation. Also a beautiful view.

Great home!

Great home! Exactly as shown in the photos! Very nice location on the water and nice walkable neighborhood. Easy access to the beach. Very clear communication with Richard. We were 14 people here for a family gathering between Christmas and New Year's.

Beautiful home in a wonderful location.

Beautiful home in a wonderful location. We spent a week here with friends. The kids loved the private sandbox area:). The views were gorgeous. Easy access to the beach. The house was clean and furnished beautifully. You do need to pack bath towels and washcloths unless you want to wash the few provided every day. The combination of bunk beds, regular beds and pull-out couch worked well for our families.

We will definitely be back!!!

We had 5 kids and 5 adults staying. Plenty of room for all of us with the ability to spread out. We were able to walk to the beach and only few minutes drive to restaurants when we weren't cooking at home. It was really quiet and the balconies looking over the lagoon was amazing!! We also noticed a water leak but I called and they had someone out there within a couple of hours. We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect vacation !!

We had a great time at On Golden Pond ! Beautiful property, with great views of the Sunset from multiple decks . Our group loved being on the Bay because several of our crew like to fish . There is a walkway just steps from the house where you can fish all you want . The walk to the beach was not an issue, my wife and I are 65 and it was not a big deal for us to walk. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and had more than enough room for our group. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen for cooking and our grandkids absolutely loved the Bunkbed room. I would definitely book this house again !!! The owner was a pleasure to work with !!

Beautiful house on the lagoon

This is a fantastic place to stay in Gulf Shores if you have several people. Our family with adult children and grandson stayed here for several days. It worked out perfectly. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms. The view of the lagoon is lovely. The beach is only about 4 blocks. It is an easy walk, and there is a crosswalk to cross the busy street. It is also very close to a walking path that we also enjoyed. Our group liked to sit out on the deck and watch the birds and boats. The kitchen is well stocked. We hope to stay here again in the future.

On the bay

The property location was great for our family. Could definitely use some updates. When we turned on the ceiling fan in upstairs master dust dropped all over the bed could have been cleaner over all. Kitchen definitely needed a few more pots and pans. Could definitely use new stove/oven, other appliances were updated and very nice.

Wonderful, spacious home and super close to the beach. The pictures do not do justice for the size and spaciousness of this house. Plenty of room and seating for everyone. Both a regular coffee pot and a keurig machine are in the kitchen. A television is in every bedroom and the washer and dryer seemed newer and were larger than expected. The public beach access is a short walk across the street, but the bay view is extremely relaxing as well. Multiple balconies to enjoy the view. Plenty of parking, which is a plus at the beach! The rental company is extremely thorough in their communication before, during, and after your stay with all the details of the stay, check in and check out directions, suggestions of restaurants and things to do, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

My wife's family have traveled to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for decades. I became a tag along in the late 1990s, so a Gulf Shores guy by marriage. One thing led to another and we ended up a lot of large, family-friendly, large group friendly, places along the Gulf. On Golden Pond #5 is a very nice family-friendly lagoon front home with, for much of the year, the BEST sunsets from the back porches overlooking Little Lagoon. Nice. Comfy. Lots to do with the dock and pool. If you canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, you can drop in right here as well! And a great value too!
