As a vrbo home owner myself, I understand the importance of reviews so i didn’t want to go lower than a 4 star but the property definitely needs updating. It’s in a great location and finding a all king 4 bedroom is near to impossible. But…. If you’re going to fix a proper meal, bring your own pots and pans. These are old to the point of uneven surfaces. There’s no blinds over the beds in the bedrooms so we had to take the bed pillows and stuff them up into the windows for the sun in the mornings. Outdoor TV over the hot tub didn’t work. I always take one booking a year at my Vrbo and reinvested in the property in fresh towels, pots, and pans, or just updating things that on a yearly basis. This is something I would highly suggest to the owners. With all that being said, we had a wonderful time, and again the cabins in good condition, just needs some attention to detail.
Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. We loved the rooms, especially that they each had their own bathroom. The kitchen was large, and there were plenty of areas to spread out, or get together. Unfortunately, the hot tub temperature was so low that we couldn't get it to warm up enough to use the first night. The house truly needs a deep cleaning - baseboards, floors, bathrooms. The counters were granite, so anything left on them is not easily seen, but there were stuck on and sticky areas on the counters in many places. The bathrooms had been cleaned, but there were things suck on a bathroom sink - not sure what - but kinda gross. The towels and rugs throughout really need to be changed out - they were a bit dingy or just dirty. And when we went to use a blanket (it was December) from a basket, it had several spots of something that resembled what we hoped was mud (left it in the laundry room with the towels to be washed). It is a beautiful home and overall is very nice, but just not up to par with some of the less expensive homes/cabins we've stayed in up in Broken Bow as far as the kitchen accessories, cleanliness and freshness. We'd consider staying here again, but would love to see some things done to improve.
We love happy cabin. Check in and check out are seamless. Communication is top notch too.
But there’s TONS and I mean TONS of instructions and informational emails asking for all kinds of info. I do understand that there are reasons all the rules are in place, due to the local, potential for loud parties, and the size of property would accommodate at least 50 people easily. Perhaps there have been issues in the past. It’s not a deal breaker.
Location and size is excellent. Amenities are satisfactory as well.
The tall ceilings and lighting are awesome..the ability to just enter a code to enter home enabled some of our party to arrive late.
Furniture needs some attention outdoors near hot tub. They’re really worn, and not as comfortable as they could be.
Indoor couches are getting really worn as well.
For the capacity allowed, there should be more lounging (or reclining) options too.
All appliances we needed were there, but if you need a potato masher, or sharp knives, know ahead that you’ll need to bring these things.
Most of these things can be brought from home so it’s no big deal.
Cabin is close to everything!!
