For the most part, the house was good. It was stocked nicely and the neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located to Big Sky Resort. The problems we encountered with the property were an abundance of black flies throughout the interior of the house and the hot tub did not appear to be drained and cleaned prior to our stay. There was a beer can floating in the hot tub when we opened it for the first time. The fireplace was also not cleaned out prior to our stay. One other minor concern was one of the listed king and queen bedrooms is actually an open loft, so lacked privacy. The ceiling in the loft is also VERY low, so a tall person would have issues sitting up in bed. For the premium price point we paid, this was a bit disappointing.

Absolutely Magical

This was our second year staying in the same compound, two houses down. Being a few feet from the Gallatin River was amazing, along with the cabin which was so cozy and spectacular in the way it complimented the natural environment. We are already looking forward to next year's visit.

Montana River Home

Beautiful home on the river! Well located to explore Big Sky and Yellowstone. Kitchen was well equipped and hot tub was relaxing. Perfect for our trip!

great location right on Gallatin River

The house was just as advertised and more. There was a good supply of spices and soap, paper towels, etc , which was very nice for cooking in. Kitchen is very nice with large fridge and nice Bosch appliances. Instructions for access were easy and the host provided tips on where to buy groceries and hikes etc. The location is great, with easy access to Big Sky town center as well as all the local nature activities. Hard to imagine a better place for a family to stay!
