This cabin sleeps 6 people MAXIMUM.

CELL SERVICE: My Verizon cell service works "ok" for calling or texting. Data usage is not the best but the Cabin Wifi works great.

FIREPLACE: For obvious reasons, the fireplace is non-operational during warm weather months. The fireplace is operational October 15th through March 15th.

PETS: Sorry, we do not permit pets.
There is no smoking or vaping of any kind permitted inside the Cabin!! You will be charged for the cleaning fee and damages from this. Take it OUTSIDE!! Cleanup your cigarette butts.

The cabin is set up with a starter set of toiletries and paper towels and supplies. Additional supplies are the guests responsibility.

⛰Mountain Roads⛰This Cabin is on a mountain in the Sky Harbor subdivision. It is easily accessed via asphalt roads. There are sharp turns and steep grades, which might be a shock to some. Please take your time driving. Some roads require you to pull over so another car can safely pass. Don't panic, a fully loaded Honda Civic can get to the cabin with no problems under dry and rainy conditions. With that being said, in the event of snow and winter weather, going up or down the mountain is not recommended. This area averages 10 inches of snow per year. Please consider tire chains and 4-wheel drive is a MUST during winter weather. There are no refunds for weather as i cannot predict it. Guests should acquire their own Travel Insurance.

Perfect Getaway

This is a beautiful cabin, very clean. Well stocked with anything needed. It was close enough to town but still outside of town far enough that it wasn't too far to drive. Games upstairs to play, that was a fun as too for the time there. We saw 4 bears the first night, the only ones we saw but excited to see them. The bed we very comfortable, and just soft enough, but not to hard. Would definitely come back again.

Great and relaxing cabin

Recently stayed at the Black Bear loft and we had a great time. The cabin was great and my girls loved the location. We saw several bears and relaxed at night. Scott was a great host and would definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Peaceful Stay in the Mountains

Overall my family and I loved this cabin! It is very clean and they have all the amenities we could have asked for. The game tables and foosball were a huge hit and the beds were comfortable. We were to and from the cabin often and liked that we weren't far from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and the entrance to the National Park. The 2.5ish miles of winding and steep roads took us some getting used to, but after a few trips up and down it became more comfortable. Twice we saw black bears frolicking! Overall I recommend this cabin and Scott was great about being in touch. We would definitely stay here again and appreciated the hospitality!

Welcome! We are a couple from New York with one little boy and decided to purchase a cabin in the Smoky Mountains after one fun filled visit. Both of us love to travel and do so often. My wife and I are both college graduates, her being a school teacher and myself a firefighter in NYC. We love being outdoors, skiing, hiking, rafting and much more but also love a good movie and time to relax and enjoy. It makes us happy to be able to share our home with you as it's a great joy for us and we are confident you'll love it!
