This cabin sleeps 6 people MAXIMUM.

CELL SERVICE: My Verizon cell service works "ok" for calling or texting. Data usage is not the best but the Cabin Wifi works great.

FIREPLACE: For obvious reasons, the fireplace is non-operational during warm weather months. The fireplace is operational October 15th through March 15th.

PETS: Sorry, we do not permit pets.
There is no smoking or vaping of any kind permitted inside the Cabin!! You will be charged for the cleaning fee and damages from this. Take it OUTSIDE!! Cleanup your cigarette butts.

The cabin is set up with a starter set of toiletries and paper towels and supplies. Additional supplies are the guests responsibility.

⛰Mountain Roads⛰This Cabin is on a mountain in the Sky Harbor subdivision. It is easily accessed via asphalt roads. There are sharp turns and steep grades, which might be a shock to some. Please take your time driving. Some roads require you to pull over so another car can safely pass. Don't panic, a fully loaded Honda Civic can get to the cabin with no problems under dry and rainy conditions. With that being said, in the event of snow and winter weather, going up or down the mountain is not recommended. This area averages 10 inches of snow per year. Please consider tire chains and 4-wheel drive is a MUST during winter weather. There are no refunds for weather as i cannot predict it. Guests should acquire their own Travel Insurance.

This cabin couldn't have been any more perfect. It is far enough away to be quiet, and close enough to enjoy any attraction in the area with ease. We were very impressed with how clean and well kept the place is, would recommend anyone to stay here

The cabin was very cozy . There was Hot tub and a jacuzzi but we didn’t use them this time. Really love the seat in arrangements outside on the porches. Far enough from the busy town and close enough for some peace and quiet time. A very pleasant place to stay.

Great cabin rental!

Enjoyed our stay at the Black Bear Loft! Check in was super simple, cabin was clean, and location was perfect! Spent the days visiting both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and enjoyed a day of just relaxing at the cabin. Highly recommend!

Mountains of fun

We couldn't have been more thrilled with our stay at this property. It exceeded our expectations and was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever experienced. The beds were incredibly comfortable just like our own at home which made for a perfect night's sleep. Great cozy cabin

Cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Cabin is pretty ideally located in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge

We had a nice stay but expected the parking area to be larger. There really isn’t a view other than trees. No place to hang clothes in the bedroom downstairs. It was clean and comfortable and that was much appreciated!

Exceptional cabin, well stocked with all amenities. Only minutes from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Couple of miles up the mountain to a little taste of paradise.

Relaxing escape in the mountains

We visited the area for a sporting event and loved this cabin up in the mountains. Close to everything, but far enough away to enjoy nature. Amenities were as described and the kids loved the upstairs play area. Would stay again.

Loved the cabin and the beautiful drive going to it. We did see some bears and they definitely made our stay so enjoyable. It was a clean place. It had most of the things you need. A lot of beautiful memories. We thank the owners and God bless.

New getaway spot!!!

Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The cabin is well equipped and very organized which I find appealing. Plenty of seating space and there is a tv in every room. Plenty of entertainment options, great WiFi, great hot tub, and great communication with the host. We are making this our new place to stay in Gatlinburg!

Cleanest place we've ever stayed!

This place is a winner! We had a great time! Everything was just as described! We appreciated the warnings to set your GPS before heading up or down the mountain, as this is very true! Great access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! You can't go wrong staying here!

Mountain Living

The property was great! Our kids loved the loft area. We had several intense games on the foosball table. The beds were comfortable, loved the room darkening curtains too. We had several bear encounters but thankfully we stayed close to the porch to get inside when needed. It was a great place and only about 20 min to all the fun in town stuff too. We would definitely stay again!

Very peaceful!

The cabin was nice! It had extras for the teens to enjoy when we would return to the cabin early to relax. It was very peaceful and restful once you arrived at the cabin. Comfortable beds and nice thick towels! The drive up was interesting but we made it up all the hills!!

Perfect Family Cabin

We stayed 2 nights at the cabin and it was perfect! The loft/bedroom/gameroom upstairs was awesome for our 11 year old daughter to stay in. We enjoyed the games each evening when we were done with the city. The master bedroom and hot tub on the deck were also a nice retreat for my husband and I. Scott made everything very easy and communicated well! Thank you for letting us enjoy the Black Bear Loft!

Adopt a shelter animal

This is a great house and my husband and I enjoyed our 20th anniversary trip. We thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Also, the master bed is very comfortable. my family and i really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, not far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon forge, though I recommend having a good vehicle to get up the mountain to the cabin. We had the pleasure of seeing a momma black bear take stroll right up our driveway, that was really neat.

Welcome! We are a couple from New York with one little boy and decided to purchase a cabin in the Smoky Mountains after one fun filled visit. Both of us love to travel and do so often. My wife and I are both college graduates, her being a school teacher and myself a firefighter in NYC. We love being outdoors, skiing, hiking, rafting and much more but also love a good movie and time to relax and enjoy. It makes us happy to be able to share our home with you as it's a great joy for us and we are confident you'll love it!
