Love the View - Beautiful Mountain Escape w/Hot Tub, Pool Table, Arcade & WiFi

Welcome to ‘Love the View’! Located in Dogwood Farms mountain community. You will be able to relax and take in the spectacular mountain views while dining outside on the patio or simply starting your day with a cup of coffee and your favorite book. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot.

Walking up the few steps onto the deck leads you to the beautiful view of the Pigeon Forge Valley. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot whether it’s enjoying dinner outside, relaxing in a rocking chair, grabbing an afternoon nap in the hammock or sipping a sweet tea while swinging on the porch swing. During the summer months you will also be able to see the fireworks shot off every night at Dollywood from the deck. All guests are provided free access to the seasonal Pool and fishing pond (year-round) located at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli.

Located on the main level of Love the View is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with enough seating for 6. Keurig coffee machine (pods not provided) and regular coffee pot (coffee and filters provided) available. The cozy living room provides you and your guests with leather couches to watch your favorite shows, free wifi, or enjoying the gas fireplace on those chiller nights (Fireplace is seasonal and will be turned off May 1 to Sept 30th). Also, on the main level is a king size bedroom with a flat screen tv with an adjoining bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub and shower.

Venture downstairs and you will find a pull-out queen sleeper sofa and couch along with a pool table, TV and DVD player, lots of board games, cards and books. A NEW Multi-Arcade with 60 Games including all the classic favorites like PacMan, Donkey Kong, Galaga was added in June 2021. You can conveniently access the lower deck where you will enjoy the relaxing hot tub which was upgraded in June 2021. Also, on the lower level is a king size bedroom with a full bath nearby. Washer and dryer are located on the lower level with ironing board and iron. There is also a water filtration system thru the entire cabin.

Blacktop road all the way with the last 2mins on a one lane road. No 4x4 required except for the winter months if there is snow. If you are not familiar with driving in the mountains which entails windy and steep roads recommend you arrive for your first time to the cabin during the daylight. I also have a video of the drive through the neighborhood that I can share.

The cabin is conveniently located 3 miles to the beautiful Foothills Parkway, 6 miles to Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli in Wears Valley, 8 miles to Pigeon Forge, 12 miles to downtown Gatlinburg and 8 miles to The Great Smoky Mountains Metcalf Bottoms.

Starter pack provided for essentials (soap, shampoo, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwashing detergent and toilet paper). If staying multiple days please plan accordingly. Charcoal for the park style grill is not provided.

The cabin will be decorated for Christmas in early November to January based on availability.

Love the View has a motion surveillance system recording the driveway. All other areas of the home are private.

Amazing!

Love the view is a perfect name for this cabin. It has the most amazing views of the mountains and you can sit on the deck and watch the sunrise over the mountains. It is a cozy cabin and a great family retreat. So peaceful and quiet! We had a wonderful experience and will return in the future.

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Amazing views!! Perfect for my husband, myself, our 4 grown children and 7 month old grandson. Our stay was amazing at this cabin. The only thing I would have wished for was a better mattress for the master king bed. But overall we will definitely be back!!!

Super Comfy Cabin with Spectacular View!

Loved our autumn week! Enjoyed a fantastic rainbow! Very comfy and tranquil stay yet a great central location to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Townsend. Great access to Cades Cove and other access to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Grateful to owners so my hubby was able to watch his beloved Atlanta Braves play in the World Series.

This was an excellent property. Very comfy and cozy, nicely furnished with all the amenities needed for a family. Excellent views, well maintained, just what is needed in a cabin in the mountains. Great location for those driving to adventures in the Smoky's. Would absolutely stay here again. No complaints. Hands down 5 stars.

Love the view was so beautiful. The cabin itself felt like home. The view was amazing. We saw snow! My daughter loved the arcade games. Everything you need is provided in this cabin and the hosts reply so quickly. We want to come back in the fall and stay again!

We "Love the View"!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Love the View... the views are AMAZING! It's perfectly located within close proximity to many of the sites and attractions around the Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg areas. The cabin was a peaceful place to retreat to after our fun filled days. It was clean and well represented in the photos and description. Check in was easy and Dawn was a wonderful! We highly recommend a visit to this home, you will not be disappointed!

Still “Love the View”!

This was our second year in a row to “Love the View”. Everything was clean and pristine. The view from the lower deck is getting obstructed by trees, but the view from the upper deck is still breathtaking! We will definitely be back!

Relaxing and Beautiful

We loved staying at the cabin. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was warm and clean. The owner left plenty of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning spray and laundry soap. This was an addition I haven’t seen at many places we have rented, but it helped to keep it clean, so there was t as much to do during check out. We would stay here again. I would advise thinking about the weather if you don’t have 4 wheel drive. There is at least one hill that my van probably wouldn’t have made it up if the weather had been bad. It also could have just been my comfort level with it. The first day my tires slipped, but after a few days I was navigating it like a pro.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful cabin with all the extras! Dawn has thought of everything! From the laundry pods, to hairdryers, handheld mirrors, books, movies, games, and loads more! Cabin is VERY clean and beutofully decorated! Master bed is on the firm side, which is perfect for us! Our kiddo loved the pool table and arcade game!! Upon arriving we werent sure about the closeness of the 2 cabins next door, but once your inside and on the back porch with the AMAZING view you dont even notice them! Dawn chrcked in on us to make sure we arrived safely and to ensure there were no issues! We've been staying in cabins for 10 years and this was a first!!! Thank you, Dawn, for a wonderful stay at Love The View!!!

Love the View is Perfect

We had a wonderful time staying at Love the View Cabin the first week in November. The name of the cabin says it all. The view is amazing! The cabin itself was perfect for our stay. Very clean, lots of room, lovely porch with porch swing, tables/chairs, and hammock. We spent a lot of time outside relaxing on the porches. The cabin is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Full kitchen, lots of games, pool table, arcade game would make it great for families with children. Check-in and communication with the owner was easy and the owner is very thoughtful. We were celebrating our anniversary and flowers with a lovely card were waiting on our arrival. We hope to come back and stay again!

Wonderful Cabin in the Mountains

The interior was exactly as described, and shown in the images. The view is not given justice with the pictures and was better than expected. For a mountain cabin, it was very convenient to get to. The roadway was well paved and as wide as could be expected. The cabin is far enough into the mountains to feel like you're in nature, but close enough to visit Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Knoxville or the Smokey Mountain National Park without any inconvenience. Dawn, was a fantastic host with great communication. She quickly replied to messages and was fantastic with her guides and hints for the area. Overall an A+ experience. It's rare to have a place that is better than expected. If we return to the Smoky's we will definitely be back.

We agree, we "Love the View"!

Five of us stayed at "Love the View", three adults (2 seniors, 1 professional) and 2 kids (8 , 12), and we were all very pleased with our cabin. The view was perfect! The accommodations were perfect! The location on "the peaceful side of the mountain" was perfect! We had very privacy with very close access to plenty of places to eat, plenty of places for recreation, and we had the added bonus of being in this beautiful area without large crowds or traffic even though it was Labor Day Weekend!!! The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed! The cabin was exactly as described (maybe better), our hosts were awesome (even provided us with an email of recommendations and suggestions before our trip), and even the weather was perfect (but if it hadn't been, we would have had plenty to keep us busy at the cabin with the games, arcade, pool table, etc.). We hope we will be able to return to "Love the View" very soon! We had a great time! Thank you!!!
