Fantastic Sunset Point East Shore Lake Front Property

Located on beautiful Flathead lake between Yellow Bay and Blue Bay on Sunset Bay (East Shore). Only 15 miles from Big Fork and Polson where you can enjoy dinner, shopping, theater and all sorts of fun activities. 1 acre property with cherry orchard and beautiful lake views with over 109 ft. of lake front/level pebble beach to play on or enjoy a campfire. 2 bedroom, 2 bath and sleeping loft. Full kitchen and two living rooms. Large covered deck to watch the amazing summer sunsets from while enjoying a nice BBQ. Private dock with shore station to park your boat, fish from or just sit and enjoy the day. NO PETS/ Non Smoking facility. **PLEASE NOTE you must have a car with AWD or 4X4 to be able to go down and up the driveway to our property, due to the grade.

For the golfer, 15 miles to the South Polson Country Club offers 27 beautifully maintained holes. 15 Miles to the North enjoy Eagle Bend in Big Fork.

For the hiker, and biker, enjoy many trails close to the cabin or make your way North and explore Glacier National Park which is only an hour away.

For the skiers: Whitefish Mountain in Whitefish, MT or Snow Bowl in Missoula, MT are each about an hour and a half from Polson. Blacktail Ski Resort in Lakeside, MT is about ¾ of an hour away.

Perfect Lakeside Retreat

Our group of 8 had the greatest Flathead/Glacier vacation possible because of this property. Everything was great. 1. The view from the deck is fantastic. 2. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. 3. The deck is huge and sturdy and a great place for hanging out, swimming, fishing, site-seeing. 4. If you have a boat, stay here because the boat lift is necessary. 5. The firepit is perfectly rustic and is meant for smores and/or Dutch oven meals. 6. The owners are very responsive. 7. It is close to everything. 8. There are beds everywhere downstairs, everyone will be comfortable. This place has just the right amount of cabin comfort and rustic-ness for my family. The hill down to get to it is steep (they tell you often you need AWD, and they are correct) but parking a 2WD on the top of the hill is no big deal. Note: I am a right leg amputee so getting down the steps is a challenge, but I will crawl to keep coming to this place because that hill also gives you a lot of privacy. Perfect stay for us!

Great location, amazing sunsets! Especially enjoyed the SUPS, canoe, ready supply of lake toys, lawn chairs, and huge deck for dining, and taking in the incredible lake views.

Perfect family getaway

Had an amazing time on one of the most beautiful spots on the lake. House slept four adults and two children very comfortably and could easily have slept more. Would love to come back again next year.

Amazing property with breathtaking views of Flathead Lake. House was perfect for our family trip with kids aged 9-18 — loft and basement bunk rooms were perfect for boys/girls sleeping arrangements with the grown-ups taking the two bedrooms.The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved enjoying the weather and views from the spacious deck while sharing delicious meals.But the gem of this property is the water frontage. Any given moment we had kids/grown-ups swimming and paddling, lounging in a hammock, reading in a comfy lounge chair on the dock, fishing off the dock, or gathered around the fire ring on the pebble beach. At night the fire was a spectacular place to watch the last remnants of sunset disappear behind the mountains while the moon rose overhead (quiet paddleboard sorties during this time of day were magical).Additional NOTES:A group of smallmouth bass congregate around a couple of large boulders on the lakebed within casting distance of the dock (finally caught some on paddle tails with a fast retrieve along the bottom).The owner Kristina was incredibly responsive, helpful, and generous with her time when questions arose.Finally, they aren’t kidding about requiring 4x4 or AWD year-round to escape the parking area at the bottom of the driveway. I needed to shift into 4H or 4L to make it up and my sister-in-law was fine with AWD. If you’re stuck with a FWD or RWD you can still park along driveway at the up the hill.

Beautiful Lake Property!

Our family loved our time staying at this cabin. It is well maintained, clean and spacious. Our two teenage daughters had their own space which they appreciated. The sunsets were beautiful and we enjoyed time on the water. We did local hikes and spent time in Glacier NP. Thank you so much for sharing your lake cabin with us, Kristina.

One week in paradise

Our 3-generational family just finished our vacation at this beautiful lakefront property on Flathead Lake. It had us at "hello", so to speak. We all were so taken by the beauty of this environment. Although a canoe and paddle boards were available, kayaking was simply divine in a kayak leant to us by my brother who has a house in Polson. We were also quite content to sit on the dock and watch the lake and sky any time of day, but especially at sunset. Our five year old enjoyed a brief dip in the lake, which was too cold this year for most of us. The kids were endlessly entertained by throwing stones in the water and loved the campfire and having s'mores, of course The house is lovely, with wonderful views of the lake from the live room and deck. It is a very comfortable house in and easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 2 children, Our little guy loved the box of Tonka toys, The only suggestion is to add shelves in the first floor bedroom.. It was a wonderful family vacation and I highly recommend it this house.

Perfect lake front getaway

Our family of 9 came to MT from San diego. We had a great time at the cabin. I’m pretty picky, the house is in a great location, has a wonderful beach, and more water toys than you can imagine! My kids enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, tubes, floating mat, and paddle boards. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Northcutt Family!

A little slice of heaven!

This is the perfect place to stay on Flathead Lake! The pictures do it no justice. The place was spotless and has everything you could ever need. The property owners were wonderful and very prompt with thier responses when we had a question. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for Family Vacation

My husband, three kids, and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We had previously rented another cabin, but as our family grew, we needed more room. This suited us perfectly--plenty of room when we had grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunt and cousins. The loft was fun for the kids, and we enjoyed the privancy and coolness of the basement bedroom. The cabin was well-stocked, very clean and well-maintained. Loved that the water was practically in the backyard. One of our favorite things was having a campfire, roasting marshmallows, and watching the beautiful sunsets in the evening. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. An incredibly relaxing and wonderful week!
