This was the perfect place for our weekend away in Fredericksburg. The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. The property was peaceful and relaxing with deer roaming. The host was in constant contact making sure everything was good and even had a basket of snacks out for us when we arrived. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!
Great weekend getaway. We loved the quiet surroundings. We were able to enjoy a fireside evening. Very close and easily accessible to the Maint St Market place.
As a frequent VRBO user, the home was good for a country getaway. Wonderful time to renew, refresh and spend time with the family. The home was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Loved the floor to ceiling windows and the wrap around porch. The BBQ pit worked perfectly! It would have been great to have big fluffy towels in the bathrooms and there were no washcloths in the entire home. Just a little feedback, the living room furniture was not comfortable and there were just the bare basics available for cooking for a big family in the kitchen. Also, the dishwasher liquid was empty. Our favorite was the outdoor firepit but comfortable outdoor furniture around the firepit and the deck would have been wonderful addition. Overall, a nice stay!
The house was very nice. Fully stocked kitchen. Beds were comfy. Beautiful location. Would definitely stay again. Communication with host was excellent.
This property was one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed at. Beautiful country setting with deer around. Loved the provided extras such as a trampoline, hammock, sand box, 2 fire pits and gas grill.
My friends and I booked this property for a weekend getaway and it exceeded all of our expectations. The house was as advertised, and we received exquisite communication from the host. The house sits on plenty of land, and downtown Fredricksburg was easily accessible by uber. The home comfortably fit 8 of us, and we are so happy with the house.
Karina's home is nestled away in the hills. It's far enough outside of town that we didn't feel too close, but close enough to enjoy a quick 10 minute car ride into town. The house was perfect for us, it wasn't too big, but wasn't too small - and the views were amazing!

We just got back from a couples trip to Fredericksburg and could not have asked for a better trip! The house was amazing and the property owner was wonderful. She checked in on us during our stay and was very informative. A+ Will definitely be back!!

Thank you! I am happy that you all enjoyed your stay.
House was very nice and well equipped. Check-in and out was a simple process. The internet signal was strong for when we had to work. We would recommend this property to others and plan to come back again in the future.
The home is very clean and commodious. Karina, the owner, was always available and helpful. The house is a short drive from Fredricksburg. If you want a more quiet stay in a country setting, this is the property for you.
The property is absolutely beautiful!
The stars at night are spectacular and morning coffee on the porch watching the deer was a great start to the day!
The property is close to downtown and all the wineries.
The house was just as presented!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from teh city for some peace and quiet.
This property was amazing and everything was exactly as it was advertised. My family, to include two small dogs, stayed for three nights while taking in all the sites in and around Fredericksburg. The location was secluded enough to let the dogs off leash and enjoy some great walks in the area yet within a few minutes drive to anything you would want to see in town. The house was very spacious and laid out well for families. It had just about everything you would need. Stores, to include Walmart, are close enough that there is no need to over pack and the host is quickly responsive! I have stayed at many guest houses and this is among the best… well worth it!! Highly recommend.
We loved the property and Karina went above and beyond in being a hostess especially in the freezing temps we just happen to experience. It was something no one in the south is use to yet she drove to bring us water and dry firewood. We hope to go back in the near future and stay at Karina’s again.
If you’re looking for a place to relax and get away in a private, comfortable home- this isn’t it. This property in the middle of a field located in a neighborhood with big lots. It’s only secluded from any place to go. There is NO privacy. Highway runs behind it so lots of road noise. “Wrap around deck” is old with broken boards and exposed nails. Inside is cute but lacks comfort. Seating consists of butterfly chairs, benches, metal straight back chairs with no cushions, no ottomans, a low back couch on rollers with small throw pillows for back support. Primary bedroom is upstairs with torn/stained carpeting. Cheap metal bed frames, one was broken when we got there. Bathrooms have builder grade shower/tub combo. No luxury here. No privacy- house was near neighbors, no window coverings in living area so plan on that. Neighbor’s dog runs loose and charged us as soon as we got there. We had to keep our dogs inside the house or on a leash. We planned a quiet “secluded” weekend away after the holiday rush and we had to leave after the first night! We were so sore from just sitting on that awful couch the night before while we watched watched a movie! We decided we weren’t going through that stress for 2 more nights! NOT what we expected at all. If you stay here, don’t plan on comfort or privacy. And plan to bring your own firewood for any fire, inside or out. Super disappointing and not worth the cost.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I'm truly sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations and that you all decided to leave. I strive to make every guest's experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so it's disappointing when I fall short.
To address your concerns, I'd like to sincerely apologize for any issues you encountered with the furniture. I want to reassure you the bed was already replaced. I'll take another close look to ensure everything meets the highest standards for future guests. The broken board from the wrap around deck was also replaced the day you departed just like it was communicated on the messages before your arrival.
Regarding the setting of the property, I always try to highlight in my listing that it's nestled on five serene acres away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a quiet rural retreat where all houses around have about 5 or 10 acres. The highway is 1 mile away from the house and is 10 minute drive from Main Street. I completely understand how different environments can take some adjustment.
Again, I appreciate your honesty and the time you took to share your thoughts. My goal is to continuously improve, and your feedback helps me create better experiences for future guests.
Wishing you and your wife all the best,
Karina
The house was laid out very well for 3 couples. Very spacious with bonus rooms for ice chests, bags, laundry, etc. Clean. The kitchen was well stocked so it was easy to make meals. I brought my own staples (seasonings, baggies, foil) but they stocked it well. All king sized beds, which was extremely nice, with varying degrees of firmness and softness to suite the different needs/wants. The patio table was nice to sit outside. We wanted to use the fire pit but never got a chance. It was peacefully remote but close enough to the town to not spend all our time driving. The hostess was super responsive when I asked questions in advance about things like what type coffee maker (both drip and Keurig), did the have wood for the fire pit (not really) and did they have propane (couldn't guarantee, which was the only negative - we had to pay 20 to swap it out and get propane). Definitely would return to this house. It served us well.
Great stay at a nicely updated home on a spacious property. We stayed here for an early holiday gathering. We found the property exactly as described and it included anything you might need for a long weekend stay. Large bedrooms and nice beds. Great outdoor spaces including multiple seating areas and a two fire pit areas. Keep in mind that the creek/pond area is wet weather only, otherwise it's just a draw for the deer and other wild life to travel up and down. The location is approx 10 from main street; easy to get there and back. Also, easy to navigate around Fredericksburg if headed east to the wineries off of 290. Enjoyed out stay and would hapily return for another adventure.
There was plenty of seating inside and outside for 7 of us to eat meals together and visit in the evening. The sleeping arrangement were ideal with 2 bedrooms downstairs then another bedroom/bathroom and loft upstairs. Situated close to Enchanted Rock and to Fredericksburg. Beautiful property with deer and even a ringtail. Highly recommend!!
Loved our stay at this house. Especially loved sitting out by the fire pit under the stars. Enjoyed watching the deer roaming the property early in the morning. Open concept is perfect for entertaining. Very clean and newly renovated. Karina was very nice and always in communication with us.
This is a lovely home: spacious living/dining area; comfortable bedrooms; beautiful land. Perfect for a family thanksgiving. Hosts are very responsive.
This was a perfect get away. The house is so roomy and everything you need. The scenery was beautiful. Highly recommend.
