Stay connected with high speed wifi and large screen smart TV. The open living room and kitchen is a great place for the family to gather anytime of the year, and offers ample space for your regular stretching routines. In the fall and winter, cozy up on the couch with a good book, or play an old-fashioned game of chess or checkers on the couch friendly game table while enjoying the inspiring view. Beautiful original canvas photos adorn the walls. Experience the magnificent northern Michigan fall colors right out your windows. In the summer, prepare a meal with farm fresh ingredients from the local farmers markets in the well-appointed kitchen, or roast marshmallows over the fire pit by the lake. As comfortable as the home is you will still want to explore the area. Ranch Rudolf/Brown Bridge Quiet Area/Boardman River Valley a few miles away offers great options for the outdoor enthusiast. The world-famous Vasa x-country ski/mountain biking trail is 9 miles from the home, and you are a short day trip to the internationally acclaimed Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore featuring vast dunes, beaches, scenic drives, hikes and a bike trail. Traverse City is less than 15 minutes away with plenty of eclectic restaurants, coffee shops, two great downtown movie theatres, quaint stores, beaches and events to take advantage of. The home is our favorite gathering spot with our children and grand children. After a few days of swimming, fishing, hiking, kayaking and gathering around the lakeside campfire our 8 year old grandchild declared it was the best time she has had in her life.

Northern Michigan Gem

An absolute perfect place for our family vacation to the Traverse area. A fantastic and quiet lake that we enjoyed with swimming, kayaking and just hanging out on the great dock. Every amenity and the home was just that, a home that Jim and Robin allowed us to use and enjoy. Close enough and far enough from Traverse to make it perfect. Greatly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

What a beautiful property!

Lovely property on a low travelled road, overlooking a quiet, pituresque lake. The home was nicely furnished, the kitchen well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Owner was responsive and accommodating. Lots of space, lots of lake toys, really a fantastic place!

Great summer vacation!

We were blown away at how beautiful the house and lake were. The photos do not do it justice. We enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks every day. Everything in the Traverse City area was 20-60 minutes away. The house itself has been beautifully updated, it was impeccably clean, and the owners have thought of everything. The lake is private and peaceful, and we saw different wild life every day. Overall an awesome vacation week!

Wonderful home on Bass Lake

This was a beautiful home, very clean, on Bass Lake. Absolutely loved the deck with the glass panel railings, views was wonderful. You can tell the home owners take great care of the home. Appreciated the kayaks and paddle boat. Lake is pretty small with a lot of lily pads, did some fishing from the dock but we lost a few lures with all the growth. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were very clean, pretty updated, with lots of towels. WiFi was strong enough for my two teens. Fire pit area was nice right on the water. Saw so much wildlife. You are about 20 minutes drive from downtown TC. An hour from sleeping bear dunes. We had a very nice week in this very clean house.
