Ethan, thank you for staying with us. The children enjoying watching our wildlife out of our dining room windows is always a treat. John and his family were excellent guests and we'd enjoy having them return to stay at our home. Our home was kept in excellent condition and very clean, and we do appreciate their kindness. In fact, you could hardly see that they stayed in our home. John's family were quite active on the trails and sight seeing. This time of year, the trees are turning to fall colors and it is a sight to behold. We even have some family pictures of the group on our overlooks towards White Sands. Thank you, Amber for staying with us, at the Woodlands Chalet. The location of the Chalet is just minutes from the Village, yet private on a cul-de-sac at an elevation of around 9,000 feet. So glad that you took advantage, of the Chalet's back yard, by walking into the Lincoln National Forest. Our guests seeing the wildlife, when setting on the rear BBQ, deck. I've even had comments that the fenced in back yard is a safe place for our guests', with young children. The kitchen is fully stocked, and the bed linens are all for your comfort, while staying with us. Thank you, Amber for taking such good care of our home, and we appreciate all of you. My housekeeper and I arrived today and really were pleasantly surprised and happy that you stayed with us. You were saying in your text, that you saw numerous deer and elk on our property. Also that you thoroughly enjoyed the stay in our gorgeous chalet and that it was and very comfortable. Keith you and your wife made our day and what a blessing to host you. Hello Judy and family, Al and I really appricate you taking great care with our home, the Woodlands Chalet. Is was so nice that you all invited us for a family meal at the Chalet. You extended kindness to us, and we would enjoy having you return for your next years vacation. Your gumbo and your mother's homemade pecan pie was fabulous. Thank you for the nice Christmas gifts from your vegatable garden, and your homemake jams and candy. You made our Christmas a wonderful memory for us. Thank you Claudia for your comments. Our check-in time is 5:00 pm and our check-out is 900 am as posted on our sight. We left more than enough trash bags, and cleaning products, in case you might need them during your 2 day stay with us. According to our texts back and forth during your stay, you did not mention that you were in need of extra trash bags, otherwise we would have delivered them to you. There were several house rules that you and your guests did not follow. On your departure, we inspected our home for damages. We painted the lower level home, approximately 2000 square feet in February 2023, just last month. You damaged the floor by dragging either furniture, suitcases, or whatever you could find, throughout the recreational room, hall, bedroom and chipped the concrete floor next to the bath tub. You left trash through out our home for us to pick up after you. There is a visible dumpster at the end of our driveway. Your guests in bedroom #5 had blood on the sheets, mattress cover, pillow case and on top of the new bedspread and blanket. In bedroom #4 the sheets had stains. Claudia, we are sorry to inform you that we would prefer that you not make future reservations with us.

Valorie, prior to cancelling your reservation, VRBO customer service called you 3 times and asked you to pay your balance that was due for your extra guests for $322+. You had 2 days to take care of the issue. You did not send me a text regarding paying through PayPal. Furthermore you are to go through VRBO to make all payments. Prior to cancelling your reservations, you sent me a demanding order that if I didn't allow you to enter my home, regardless of payment, that you would write us a nasty review. You then proceeded to make a second reservation to stay in our home. At that point, we did not feel comfortable or safe to allow you to stay on our property. VRBO staff recommended to us to cancel you and block our calendar. So we took their lead. We were a Premier Host up until you took revenge and gave us a 1 star review. We are thankful that you found a place to stay after all. Please do not make any future reservations with us. Thank you Darlene
