Great Stay in Anglet!

Thanks Rafael for a great stay! The house was beautiful and well appointed. The location was perfect and the kids went in the pool and hot tub (spa) every day. Our group had lovely meals in and out - thanks for the great recommendations! Would love to stay here again. Thanks again!

My wife and I had an outmost wonderfull time with our 4 kids at Rafael's and Cecile's lovely house.Rafael and Cecile were truly great hosts - prior to our arrival, while being there and when having to leave again. During our stay they helped with with numerous recommendations (sites to visit, restaurants and coffee hints) and even gave us a helping hand when we needed a babysitter - we are super grateful to spend such a great time, in such a charming house (fully equipped with everything which we needed). We are already looking forward to the next retreat and their place. Dear Cecile, dear Rafael THANK YOU for the wonderful time being such great persons!

Un séjour parfait à Anglet

Nous avons été superbement bien accueillis dans la maison de Cécile et Rafael. Nos hôtes étaient disponibles pour répondre à toutes nos questions que ce soit avant et pendant notre séjour. L’emplacement est idéal pour un séjour en famille. Plage à pied et commerces de qualité à quelques minutes en vélo. La piscine et le bain à remous sont très agréables. Nous reviendrons!

Fabulous property to relax or explore Pays Basque

A beautiful clean and modern family home in which our multi generational family were expertly hosted by the owner and family. Everyone one of our party from 6 to 80 enjoyed the spacious comfort of the property and the amenities available including the gorgeous pool, hot tup, table tennis and beaches on our doorstep. Perfectly located in an accessible but quite location we could enjoy the towns of Biarritz, Bayonne and Anglet and the multiple beaches on offer. Further afield we enjoyed San Sebastian, St.Jean de Luz and Espelette. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops were within a good walking distance (20mins) which meant we were not tied to the car but I would recommend hiring a car to fully explore this region of France (and Spain if you venture a little further afield). The house provided so much space and every possible home comfort we all relaxed and loved our stay. We would not hesitate to return again.

Family summer vacation

Beautiful home and in some cases better than the photos. There were a few amenities lacking - only one towel per person was provided and they were not high quality. No pool or beach towels provided - they suggested we use our one bath towel pp for swimming & beach use too! Needless to say, we purchased our own towels to take to the beach and for the pool! It was also extremely hot the first few days of our trip and there is no air conditioning or cieling fans. There are large windows and doors that can all be opened up but during the day it doesn’t help as the sun streams into the glass doors in living/kitchen area and created an oven. The house manager allowed us to go buy fans from the hardware store which they reimbursed us for - this helped us sleep at night but we were still uncomfortable. No screens on windows or doors so we had a lot of mosquitoes biting us. I imagine during cooler months there would be no problem with air flow etc. No bathroom amenities provided - we had to buy/bring our own soap, toilet paper etc. for me this is a small thing to do especially when you’re spending in this price range. Kitchen is stocked with enough dishes/utensils to cook comfortably but no pantry essentials (ie. Salt, pepper, coffee) provided. Over all had a lovely stay - easy bike to beaches and also can bike to Biarritz but it’s a lot of up hill! House manager is super responsive and helpful and the owner was also kind at check in/out.
