The open floor plan offers a large, fully-equipped kitchen, dining, and a comfortable living room designed for your family get-togethers. Take in the mountain views as you enjoy your morning coffee or evening gatherings on the covered front porch. Wood paneling and brick detailing accent this lovely, rustic home. Settle in and relax with a fire in the wood-burning stove. Plenty of room to feed and entertain your family at two dining areas or turn one into a game table. Aspen Retreat comfortably sleeps eight with a master suite that offers an adjoining full bathroom. Two more bedrooms and a second full bathroom just down the hall. Located in Ponderosa Pines and close to the Rio Grande, you are likely to be greeted by deer and turkeys during your stay.

Great for the price

The cabin itself was not bad. Communicating with the property management wasn’t that great. We had an issue with our dates and needed to change them and they were not quick to respond. However, after days of trying, we were able to adjust the dates. For the price, the cabin was great. It had all the necessary kitchen, bed and bath items. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was good. Checkin and out was smooth and easy.

Clean and comfortable

The cabin was very clean. We could have used a few more fans. It was very hot when we were there and each bedroom just had a small fan. The front living room had a large fan which was good because you couldn’t open those windows. We had a wonderful time. However, When we tried to check in the code did not work to open the door. I was on hold with VASCA for about 20 minutes before we were able to get into the house. They should have given us the code to the key box in the check in email as well as the door code. The cabin was great. I am not impressed with VASCA!

Secluded, yet convenient

This place is cozy and it has great views of the mountains and meadows and lots of deer live around there and were fun to watch. It is also close to town yet just far enough off the main roads to be super quiet. It is less than 30 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Resort and that is one of the main reasons why we chose it.

Convenient location with beautiful Autumn Colors. The house rental had older furnitures than depicted in your VRBO. But everything was still operational. And clean. The two beds were good but the daybed mattress was saggy and un comfortable.

Very nice stay!!!

Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The house is dated, but super clean and super comfortable. Could kick back and relax, the house gave you a cozy feeling. Good location in South Fork, just minutes from everything. The only down side to the entire place was the sleeper couch could use a new mattress. Lol Otherwise this place is great, would definitely stay here again.

The pictures of the house don’t die it justice. It’s way bigger then what’s picture. We were pleasantly surprised how big it was. They had a bunch of kitchen supplies. It was great! The house was very clean and nice. Definitely recommend staying here!
