My mom and I had such a nice and quiet couple of days. We swam in the lake, fed goats, pet horses, bird watched, hiked, and drank wine at the near by winery. We stayed in one of the cabins which was lovely but next time we will stayin one of the tree houses. We will be back! Thank you!
I loved how quiet, peaceful and relaxing everything was! And the primitive cabins have AC! Its as close to camping as I can get without being miserable.
New signage at the road is great. The cabin was difficult to find at night. The new signs fixed the problem. Great hiking. Beautiful lake. Quality updated facilities all round. Lots to do. Horses and goats complete the atmosphere.
Picked this cabin on a whim and it was a winner. Very clean and well equipped. Everything was in good working order and the layout was very functional for 1 adult and 1 kid. Could be a little tight with 3 or 4. Got down to 28 degrees last night, but heater worked great. Bath house was spotless and just a short walk from the cabin. Only issue is the walls are super thin. Out second night a family got there late and decided to BBQ right outside, we could hear every word of their normal volume conversation (luckily they went to bed by 10:30), but it could have been a big problem of they had been roudy or up late. This property was great for the off-season and might be even better in the warmer months with the lake activities.
