We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back. The land was beautiful, the treehouse confortable, the hot tub relaxing, and we liked having walking trails so easily available.
Everyone was super nice, they checked on us (we went during this last snow storm), made sure the treehouse was salted and heat was okay. It was clean, secluded, and a really cool atmosphere. Felt far away but we were only 30min from home. Unfortunately because of the snow, we had to end our trip early but we're already planning on returning tonfinish our trip!
Tree house #1 was a cool experience and loved the place. Very nice property and camp ground with a nice lake. Pack your food and stay for the weekend you won’t want to leave!
Had a great time getting away to a nice quiet location. Very well stocked cabin with a unique layout but still within driving distance of good food and entertainment. Owners were very prompt with any communications.
We had the best time on our "log out and unplug" vacay! This treehouse was perfect! The deck was awesome, the hot tub was incredible, the bed was so comfortable, and the entire treehouse was just adorable. It was exactly what my husband and I needed for our romantic getaway!
We were amazed with the property and all the little details like the smores stuff in the cabinet, the chair cushions stored in a waterproof deck box, stocked kitchen, amazingly fluffy towels...the hot tub was clean and perfect. The site was quiet and peaceful, we had a great time grilling right next to the treehouse, and the lake was right there and beautiful. We were very impressed and will definitely be back!
This treehouse was just what we needed. Even though it is compact, it has everything you could possibly need. Close to a lake where you can kayak, canoe or pedal boat. You can also ride horses, all for a nominal fee. There is also a private hot tub and fire ring. It is peaceful and serene.
Nice stay in a beautiful setting. Really enjoyed the kayaks (we were able to get fairly close to a grey heron and a bald eagle) and exploring the property, which is much more expansive than we’d realized with many campsites, a waterfront pavilion (big group here our first night), goats/cattle/horses, and even a tiny cemetery (I thought it was pretty cool). It was nice to soak in the hot tub, as well. Proprietors were friendly and responsive. One thing of note: the treehouse does sway a bit from your movement because of its elevation; I wasn’t prepared for that and it took some getting used to!
This treehouse was Amazing! It has everything you need and is part of a campground. There is a beach, docks to fish off of, trails, and so much more. The listing amenities and description does not do this place justice.
My only complaint is the listing said there was internet but there was none. Owner said they can supply a hotspot for $15/day which I declined since my cell had service.

Overall we thought it was way overpriced for what it is. We paid $$$$/night and I guess expected more. To start, driving there the roads were badly flooded that we couldn't get through, with not much of a signal GPS was no help to reroute. An email was sent from property about flood at 3 pm (check in time) we were already on road with no connection so that was useless. We had to go to ymca and they were kind to lead us there. The cabin is small, lot of missed details. For example, the loft upstairs which has a very steep ladder doesn't have a mirror or trash can. You cant get ready without having to run down stairs. The pillows on the bed very flat and uncomfortable. The corners of every room was super dusty, dead critters. No big table outside to eat, chairs broken, grounds not kept, you get charged $25 for paddle boat that is filled with bird poop, they dont even bother to walk you there to make sure everything is good. For that rate I should have booked at big cedar lodge where the grounds are meticulous, there restaurants and water sports included. My mistake! Not to mention ticks everywhere. Overall not impressed.
Great stay! Very secluded and romantic area to stay.Very clean home!Hot tub was great - warm, clean, and jets worked great! Would suggest an instruction sheet showing how to operate all of the jets.
We had a great, quiet and relaxing time at this rental. It was exactly what was advertised. We got a bit confused on check-in until property owner was called. He answered promptly and was wonderful to rent from. Would recommend to any adults just wanting to get away from the hustle and chaos of life for a while.
