Vacations with friends - THE all-round carefree package for your vacation! 4 stars

The holiday home for the perfect family get-together, group vacation and weekend experience.
Family reunions, group trips, friend meetings - our target group

Our new holiday home has 15 beds in 7 guest rooms with bath / toilet.
In 4 guest rooms, there is still a large sofa bed for 2 people. For our youngest guests we have provided 3 baby beds free of charge. Children's highchairs are also available.
On request we can offer you a breakfast buffet with many regional and organic products. The price would be € 5 per person (from 3 years) and day
If you would like to have an original Thuringian barbecue evening, we would be happy to order specialties from our butcher shop.


Our guests have two fully equipped modern kitchens with all electrical appliances (dishwasher, stove, microwave, kettle, egg cooker, bread cutter and refrigerator), pots and dishes.

All rooms are new and individually tastefully decorated. Extra beds are possible in some rooms. Large couch sets with bed functions are available here. Bed linen and towels are of course included in sufficient quantities. All rooms also have bathrooms with shower, toilet and hairdryer, as well as HD TVs with satellite connections. Throughout the house, Internet can be used free of charge via WIFI. A large lounge and winter garden are available to all guests. Both rooms are also equipped with HD TV sets. Our garden with a beautiful view of Franconia is equipped with several seating and lying options and is also available to all guests. Here you will also find everything for a large or small barbecue, perfect for your family celebrations or for groups.
Loan books, card games and family / board games are available in the foyer. We offer you an extensive collection of information material on regional excursion destinations and restaurants, hiking maps and maps for tours by bike or motorcycle. We would also be happy to help you put together a few day trip destinations - whether you are a hiker, cyclist or motorcycle group. We also arrange hiking escort for group trips. There is a large garage for motorcyclists. The landlord also offers tools and helpful tips for small repairs. Drying wet clothes in the dryer possible.

The central location of our house offers a wide range of options for spending a pleasant holiday that is personally tailored to each guest. Enjoy the quiet of the evening and listen to the song of the forest birds.

The minimum stay for our house is 2 nights.

Fantastisch für große Familienfeiern

Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass wir bei der Familie Muffel zu Gast sein durften. Das Haus ist absolut Spitzenklasse; man ist unter sich, hat große Küchenräume, einen Garten, eine Terrasse, einen Wintergarten, und selbst wenn das Wetter nicht mitspielt, kann man mit vielen Leuten hier gemeinsam und gemütlich zusammen sitzen. Was mir am meisten gefällt, ist die Sauberkeit. Alle Bäder sind absolut makellos und auch die Küchen und natürlich die Schlafzimmer. Die ganze Anlage ist so schön gepflegt, ein großes Lob an Familie Muffel. Sie haben uns auch sehr geholfen, als wir spät ankamen, und alles im Ort schon geschlossen war. Wir freuen uns schon auf unsere nächste große Familienfeier. Alles Gute liebe Frau Muffel und Familie.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, sehr sauber und modern! Es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Frau Muffel ist ansprechbar, wenn etwas gebraucht wird! Das Frühstück war echt reichlich, auch hier fehlte es an nichts! Ein rundherum tolles Haus! Absolut weiter zu empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder!

Tolles Haus mit wunderschöner Terasse

Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet. Sehr schön eingerichtet und die Zimmeraufteilung eignet sich perfekt für große Gruppen. Auch, wenn wir die Terrasse nicht nutzen konnten, ist sie dennoch ein Highlight mit der Grillstelle. Von der Lage her lässt sich sagen: ohne Auto geht es nicht.

Sehr schönes, großes und sauberes Haus.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Der große Wintergarten ist perfekt für lange Abende, ohne die Kinder beim Schlafen zu stören. Die Küchen sind super ausgestattet und es gibt genug Bäder. Danke!!!

Ein wirklich zauberhafter Ort

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von Freunden zu Gast bei Familie Muffel und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dieses Haus hat eine Ausstattung, die das gewöhnliche Maß überschreitet und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Ein Ort wie ein Zuhause. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern auf verschiedensten Routen ein und die Attraktionen der Umgebung lassen auch einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht langweilig werden. Wir kommen wieder!

Tolle Familien-Urlaubslocation

Bereits zum zweiten Mal haben wir Urlaub im Ferienhaus am Berg gemacht, diesmal mit der Familie. Für mehrere Generationen ist hier viel Platz um z.B. im gemütlichen Wintergarten zusammen zu sitzen. Die Zimmer bieten zusätzlich Privatsphäre für jeden.

Ideal für unser Familientreffen

Wir haben dieses Haus für ein Generations-Familientreffen gebucht. Omas bzw. Uromas 80. Geburtstag! Von Rostock bis zur Schweiz waren alle da. Dieses Haus war perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt. Jede Familie hatte ein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad. Die beiden Küchen waren super gut und mit allem ausgestattet. Das von Frau Muffel vorbereitete Frühstück war überaus gut. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts! Wir hoffen, dass wir an den Abenden nicht zu laut waren. Alles Liebe und bis zum nächsten Mal!

Eine tolle Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft hält was sie verspricht. Einfach ein sehr schönes und großes Haus, in dem mehr als genug Personen unterkommen können und auch der Außenbereich ist super für ein gemütliches Beisammensitzen. Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und bietet bspw. sehr schöne Wanderwege.

Treffen in großer Gruppe

Sehr schöne und große Unterkunft. Sehr gut für ein Treffen mit mehreren Familien geeignet. Die Lage ist in Ordnung. Sehr kleine Kinder sollte man im Haus immer begleiten, gab ein paar beängstigende Stellen an der Treppe. Die Gestaltung und Nutzung der zwei Küchen war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr schöne und große Zimmer, gemütliche Betten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
