Welcome to our cozy cabin in the Thuringian Forest!

Manebach is a district of the Goethe and university city of Ilmenau, idyllically situated on the northern slope of the Thuringian Forest.
Located on the outskirts in the immediate vicinity of the forest, our hut is your starting point for numerous activities in the immediate vicinity and for trips to the cultural sites of Thuringia. Well-maintained and well-signposted hiking and biking trails as well as good motorway access and regional train and bus connections (with the guest card free to use!).

Our cottage is well suited for two to five people. Three beds (two single or double) are on the sleeping loft with balcony, two more can be on the full sofa bed in the living room arise. Due to the rather steep, fold-away staircase ladder to the sleeping loft, the house is only partially suitable for small children or limited persons. In the fully equipped kitchen the self-catering will find everything you need. There is also a charcoal grill available. A butcher in the village offers traditional Thuringian specialties for this purpose. A steakhouse in the old train station, an ice cream parlor, a guesthouse with a restaurant and a grocery store complete the offer.

Very friendly people. Chalet is very clean and big enough for 4 or 5 people. Three bed upstairs and a big sleeping couch downstairs. Nice environment and good starting point with the train or by foot

Osterferien in Manebach

Wir hatten das große Glück, ein paar unvergessliche Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbringen zu dürfen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Von einer voll ausgestatteten Küche bis hin zu einer gemütlichen Terrasse mit traumhaftem Blick. Die Lage ist perfekt, ruhig, idyllisch und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder und können dieses Ferienhaus jedem ans Herz legen, der eine Auszeit inmitten herrlicher Natur sucht.

Gemütliches Häuschen

Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, um gut zu kochen und sich gemütlich zu erholen. Die Lage ist wunderbar nah an den Wanderwegen. Am besten fanden wir den Ausblick vom Balkon und dass man über eine Leiter in das obere Geschoss klettert. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Eine Woche Ruhe

Angenehme Ferienwohnung in sehr schöner ruhiger Umgebung. Manebach selbst ist ein hübsches Örtchen. Auch ein kleiner Laden für den täglichen Bedarf ist vorhanden, was uns (da wir ohne Auto unterwegs waren) sehr zu Gute kam. Von der Ferienwohnung aus landet man direkt auf dem Goethewanderweg. Es bieten sich auf den Wanderwegen auch in der Nähe immer wieder Möglichkeiten der Einkehr. Wir haben uns vom ersten Kontakt per Nachricht an sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Umbuchen der An- und Abreise war problemlos möglich, auch bestand das Angebot uns vom Bahnhof abzuholen. Alles in allem, ein wunderbar ruhiger und erholsamer Urlaub.

Kleines Häuschen in der Idylle

Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, auch wenn wir nur einen kurzen Wochenend-Abstecher dort verbracht haben. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft wie beschrieben. Ein kleinen Punktabzug gibt es, da wir alle Betten selbst beziehen mussten (war aber verschmerzbar)

Gemütliche & gepflegte kleine Hütte in schöner Lage

Das kleine Häuschen ist sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Alles ist modern und gepflegt. Für 3 Erwachsene hatte das Ferienhaus die richtige Größe. Mit mehr Leuten könnte es etwas eng werde, aber es ist definitiv möglich. Wichtig ist nur, dass der Schlafboden nur über eine steile, anklappbare Treppe erreichbar und somit nichts für Leute mit Bewegungseinschränkungen ist. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war unkompliziert und ausgesprochen freundlich.

Es war wunderschön! Eine herrliche Lage mit tollem Blick über Manebach und den Thüringer Wald. Die Hütte bat genug Platz zum Entspannen sowohl im Innen-als auch im Außenbereich. Die Kommunikation war problemlos, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ideal zum Entspannen, Wandern und Zeit verbringen. Es gibt tolle Wanderrouten direkt vor Ort und es ist alles prima mit den Öffis erreichbar.
