The apartment and roof terrace is spacious and all facilities advertised (appliances, TV and hot tub) worked well. We were a couple with three teenagers and it was great that we could each have our own bedroom. There are two bathrooms and two toilets. The beds are comfortable.The air conditioning is really effective and, together with the thick walls of the house, it kept the heat out! We stayed for the first two weeks of August 2026. There wasn't a heat wave then - I would say day temperatures were around 37/38 degrees (a perfectly bearable 'dry heat') which is normal for the season.It is very well situated in Avignon, being right in the heart of the city. Everything is within easy walking distance. Guests need to factor parking costs into the holiday. Overnight parking at Parking Les Halles (a 5 minute walk to the apartment) is around 23 euros. When you arrive, the hosts arrange for you to be able to pass through the various traffic barriers so that you can stop outside to drop off your suitcases.  Parking Les Italiens is a free park and ride service. It's a 20 minute walk, but there is a free shuttle service. The problem is it only runs until 9pm and, when we tried to use it, the shuttle bus wasn't operating in the late afternoon because it had to be re-charged owing to the drain on the battery caused by the air conditioning.The hosts were very good at communicating. They responded to questions promptly and helpfully.

Delightful stay!

The apartment is essentially as described and pictured, but I don't think the entrance is described or photographed and it should be. There are 56 spiral steps to get up to the apartment! Getting large luggage up there is a bit of work. We were all fit and strong and did the stairs several times each day, but they could be a problem for some folks. Other than that, the apartment is absolutely wonderful with large rooms and modern facilities and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped well, though a cutting board should be added. And the terrace is a gem! Delightful to have coffee or drinks out there. We were very pleased with the location (near cafes, grocery store with wine available, Les Halles market, and other sites). The hosts were accessible and responsive. We were met upon arrival and taken up to be shown around the apartment. A map and some restaurant suggestions were also provided. It is a great choice for your stay in Avignon!

Casa stupenda

Una casa davvero bellissima e super accessiorata, al centro di Avignone. La terrazza è davvero stata poi una vera sorpresa: cenare lì dopo una giornata in giro per la Provenza è stato davvero il massimo!

TOP!

Siamo stati benissimo. La casa è spaziosa, comoda, pulita. Noi eravamo due famiglie e ci siamo trovati benissimo, ognuno con i suoi spazi. La terrazza è il TOP! ci siamo godute le colazioni e le cene con barbeque. Sei in pieno centro vicinissimo al Palazzo dei Papi, vicini a les Halles ... ma se sei in macchina è comodissimo perchè puoi lasciarla al pacheggio gratuito che puoi raggiungere a piedi in 10 minuti o in bus che passa ogni 5 minuti. Comodissima sia per chi vuole godersi la vita di Avignon sia per chi vuole visitare i dintorni che sono spettacolari. Noi ci siamo stati solo 4 gg .... sono pochi se vuoi goderti la zona pienamente e la vita di Avignon. Vincent e sua moglie sono stati super, ottima comunicazione e grandi consigli. Grazie Vincent anche per il barbeque da terrazza che ci hai recuperato, è stata una gran bella serata! Valeria e amici

Une excellente adresse

Admirablement située en plein centre d’Avignon, ce duplex d’un très grand confort possède une magnifique terrasse. Entièrement climatisé l’appartement est très agréable et bien équipé. Une excellente adresse.

Très bel appartement idéalement placé

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour pendant le festival d'Avignon. L'appartement a été refait à neuf, les 4 chambres sont décorées avec goût. L'appartement est grand, fonctionnel, la cuisine est bien équipée (il manquait juste un grille-pain au moment où nous y étions mais le four fonctionnait très bien), la terrasse est fantastique. L'appartement est calme alors qu'il est en plein centre d'Avignon, idéalement placé. Merci à Anne-Lise et Vincent qui sont très réactifs et arrangeants, nous recommandons ce logement !
