Isla Del Sol is a private, tranquil island community on 350 beautifully landscaped acres on the southern tip of St. Petersburg.

This second floor condo is fully furnished. It has a screened in lanai that overooks the golf course. It has a master bedroom with a queen size bed and NEW bath with walk in shower. Master Bedroom overlooks the golf course, and has a sliding door onto the lanai, which has a table & chairs. The second bedroom has a double bed. The living room has a couch and a love seat & TV.

Ceiling fans are in the living room, kitchen, both bedrooms, and porch. Unit has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table with 4 chairs. Your private parking spot is right outside the door on the 2nd floor of the parking garage and it is covered. All linens are provided, as well as beach towels. The unit has a stackable washer and dryer in the utility room, just off the main bathroom. There is cable, wifi and a phone for local calls. Don’t miss your opportunity to vacation on this beautiful island community known as Isla Del Sol. Located just minutes to St. Pete Beach and Fort De Soto Park which is rated the #1 beach in the US! This 2nd floor condo is fully furnished and the parking is on the same LEVEL as the unit, so no stairs needed from your car to the front door.

Dated and Dirty

We stayed here for the month of April. It was more expensive than other places we stayed in the past , but properties were limited and we were excited to find this one available. Check in was easy and the host was easy to contact via phone , email or text. Upon opening the door to the condo, my stomach dropped. The place looked like it had not been updated since it was built probably in the 80’s. Furniture, cabinets, flooring ,etc ., were all old and , in some cases, in need of repair. The first thing I did was sweep, and clean . None of the windows opened. The patio doors do not lock. I mentioned this to the host and was told the place was safe and it was unlikely anyone would climb up to the second floor and get in . After that, I didn’t bother to mention anything else . When we told people at the pool where we were renting , almost everyone had a comment about the place ( not good) and said no one ever rents that place twice. One older women at the pool ( who obviously didn’t care what she said) , said “ that dump!” The pool area was lovely but some of the owners ( not renters) were not very nice. They would make comments loud enough to be heard about too many people, and when will all These people be gone, They would put their towels and bags on the tables at 8 in the morning and god forbid, anyone sat at “their” table . The pool is not cleaned on the weekends and the last day we were there we went down for a final swim. The pool was covered in mosquitoes ( I am not joking) and was disgusting. The whole area is nice but keep in mind, you cannot walk to the beach as it would take an hour There is one small cluster of stores across the road with an ice cream /coffee shop ( very nice) and a couple of lovely restaurants. It’s a great area for Bike riding . Also, you will be required to pay a toll every time you enter the area where the condo complex is .

My Dad rented this condo and had a great time!!!

My Dad stayed at this condo for a week and had a great time. The grounds are beautiful and the location is so close to everything. It's about 5-7 minutes from the beach, grocery store and major interstate. The condo was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. I would highly recommend renting this condo. In addition, the cost was 1/2 what you would rent a hotel for with twice the room. It has all the amenities; dishes, coffee maker, beach towels etc. The pool is beautiful and they used the pool and hot tub daily! You can't beat this price, location or the conveniences of having your own place!! It's a home away from home.

I chose to buy a vacation rental in St. Petersburg because I love the area and I know several people that vacation in that area every year. The area is well known and it is a vacation destination. Also, the Isla Del Sol complexes are well known and are very desirable to the rental community.

What makes this property unique

It is very close to the beaches of St. Petersburg as well as convenient to the airport. There are also many restaurants and shops to enjoy as well as the Downtown area of St. Petersburg, the Pier and several museums. It is also convenient to Busch Gardens in Tampa and many of the MLB teams do their spring training in the area.
