The outdoor swimming pool is an ideal place to cool off on hot summer days (9am-8pm). A large courtyard equipped with a barbecue and an outdoor lounge allows you to read pétanque, grills, table tennis, table football or relax. La Bastide Cardan is also an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area, including the bastides of Guyenne, Bordeaux and its vineyards, Saint Emilion, the Arcachon basin and the historic towns of the region.

Un petit coin de paradis

Une demeure d'exception, à l’image de Vincent, le propriétaire qui nous a réservé un très bon accueil, et très réactif à nos demandes. Cadre magnifique, piscine grandiose…. Nous étions 14, et adultes comme adolescents, nous avons tous pris plaisir à séjourner dans ce lieu. A recommander.

Fantastic holiday home with very warm welcome

We spent a week at this recently renovated holiday home with three other families (14 people in total) and had a fabulous time. The house is big, has been tastefully decorated and furnished, has a huge pool and is in the middle of rolling hills so very peaceful. Added bonuses include table tennis and boules as well as walks in the woods that the house overlooks. The icing on the cake was Vincent's exceptionally warm welcome, providing us with local specialities (local brioche and wine) and treating us to some delicious home cooking during our stay. He also organised a babysitter for us and had lots of hints and tips regarding the local area. Thank you!

wunderschöne Tage

Das Fereinhaus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Einteilung der Zimmer ist perfekt für Reisen mit mehreren Familien, da die Zimmer alle ein eigenes Bad haben. Der Pool ist sehr groß und die Umgebung gepflegt und ebenfalls sehr schön. Vielen Dank an den wundervollen Gastgeber Vincent, der auch mal Selbstgebackenes vorbeigebracht hat.
