Stunning view (see video) 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
We holidayed in Dingle for many years and love its unique charm and natural beauty. Tra Cinn Aird is our dream location. We stay in and read and paint or entertain. We go out and walk or fish or play golf. We live in Cork and stay at Tra Cinn Aird often. Peter & Mary

Why Owner chose Dingle
Dingle is unique - mountain and ocean scenery, history and culture, hospitality and interest - it's the best! Great base for walking, fishing, golfing, visiting Blasket Islands, Slea Head, Killarney, Ring of Kerry.

Tra Cinn Aird exceeded all of our expectations!
Tra Cinn Aird met all of our needs for comfort, rejuvenation, authenticity and romance. Peter, our host, was extremely helpful in corresponding with us on all of the information and recommendations that we requested. The house was as pictured and as described on the website. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by (and appreciated!) all the thoughtful courtesies that were provided by our hosts. Our time at Tra Cinn Aird will be remembered fondly. There is no doubt that I would choose it again on our next trip to the Dingle Peninsula as I don't think that I could find a better suited accommodation!
An excellent choice for the Dingle Peninsula.
Stayed there August 14 to August 28, 2018. Recommend highly: Scenic setting; well-stocked; comfortable, solid, clean and roomy; gracious, trustworthy, and responsive owner; a great base for the Dingle Peninsula.
Amazing Dingle Seaside House - Highly Recommended
This beautiful and amazing place is truly magical in so many ways. We had a family of 6 (four adults ranging in age from 43 to 72, and two children boys ages 10 and 5). The bedroom set up is perfect for this group size, with a total of 3 bedrooms that easily accommodated us. The 2 bathrooms are very nice and the house is stocked with everything you need. The most amazing part is the views, which are very dramatic of the Atlantic Ocean - you can see so many things just sitting on the patio or from the living / dining area. We walked nearly every day down to the beach (down a hill about 100 yards away) and spent time wading in the water and just admiring the views.
Peter and Mary were exceptionally responsive and helpful - we can't say enough as they made it extremely smooth to rent. For those traveling from other countries (perhaps from the USA like we were), we found Dingle town to be an awesome destination. It is about a 5-10 minute drive away and there is a nice grocery store (SuperValu) to get everything you need. We ate lunch / dinners in Dingle as well and took a tour to the Great Blasket Island and also saw Fungie the dolphin on the way back into the harbor - the kids loved it! We also took driving day trips to on the Ring of Kerry including Killarney and Inch Beach (this beach is awesome for the kids - you can even rent surf boards and wetsuits there - we did not but many families were doing this).
Perhaps the only thing I would offer as a minor bit of advice for those considering renting is that the WIFI at the house is functional, but not made for gaming or significant streaming / browsing. That said, as parents we were happy to get the kids off of the online world and into the real world, and this place allowed for us to do that. It truly allowed for us to "get away from it all" and relax. In short, if you are looking for a place on the Dingle Peninsula and you want to rent a house, look no further - this place will not disappoint.
Near to heaven
Best we ever had.Sitting and looking to the sea takes all the stress away you had during the year.
Our stay at Tra Cinn Aird was perfect in every way. The views are just gorgeous and the house itself was very comfortable. We spent almost 2 weeks in Ireland, and staying in this house was the best thing we did. Just relaxing on the patio gave us a sense of Ireland. We drove into Killarney National Park a couple of times, and Dingle was very close. If I make it back to Ireland, I will definitely stay here. Peter, thank you for sharing this wonderful home.
A comfortable and relaxed house with mystical, magical and serene views.
