Kleines Cottage mit allem, was es zum gemütlichen Übernachten braucht.
Es war alles bestens und nahezu perfekt. Eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit im Kühlschrank rundete den Empfang ab.

Immaculately presented but has plumbing deficiencies
We much enjoyed our week at your immaculate cottage at Glenbeigh in September. However, there are a few things which we felt where not functioning as we might expect. They all involve the bathroom. We found that the immersion heater would only heat half the hot water tank irrespective of the “Sink/Bath” switch setting; this meant a bath of about only 50mm depth. We observed that sometimes when operating the “On/Off” or “Sink/Bath” switch a vivid blue flash could be seen. Most worryingly the back-box to the switch had multiple holes into which I could have pushed a finger. There appeared to be a problem with very restricted water supply (just a trickle) to the right basin; but the water supply at the left basin was fine. The bath taps where tough to turn on and off; the taps’ shower/bath lever was ineffective and the water pressure very low (as per right basin) The lavatory cistern took much time to noisily fill. This was again due to a very restricted water supply. The power shower head leaks more water from the hose connection rather than from the rose in the head. On an entirely different matter, we did not know exactly where we were staying. So despite being in good Mobile coverage we would have been unable to summon Fire/Ambulance/Garda to the cottage. Perhaps you might wish to put up a notice with a formal address which 112/999 would recognise.

Wonderful!
We've had a great time in this beautiful and charming cottage. It is decorated with care and love and makes one feel at home right away! Many thanks to Mrs and Mr Melcher for sharing their house! We stayed there for a week and can only recommend booking this place if you want to spend some time near Ring of Kerry. Although very close to all attractions it's very quiet there, close to Rossbeigh Strand, shopping and restaurants / bars. Many thanks as well to Eileen who even waited for us as we were late!
