My family and I decided to go to Cape May for the New Year holiday, and this home was such a great find! The check in process was via a real estate office located right in Cape May. The keys to the doors are unfortunately very tricky, so we did have some trouble getting in...but figured it out! We are all adult children, our parents, and one of whom has a spouse so the multiple bedrooms was essential. We were also able to bring our dog that massively enjoyed the huge fenced in yard to romp around in! The house itself was as photographed. There was a ton of kitchen/home supplies to use that were very convenient. Fire places were amazing/cozy. Plenty of beach chairs too! Parking for our 3 cars with room to spare. The house was overall clean, but definitely could have used a bit more attention to detail with the cleaning. The lofted ceilings in the living room, while spectacular, had a ton of cob webs collecting in the corners. The bedrooms were overall clean. The downstairs shared bathroom was malodorous and seemed to be consistent. The downstairs living room was awesome. The upstairs living room was beautiful and so serene, but the couches could probably use some updating. Location wise, it's a short drive into town, walking to some attractions in West Cape May (but no sidewalks, so be cautious). With it being the winter time and easy to find parking in town, this was not an issue for us! We'd definitely stay again!

comfortabe but not well maintained
I booked ths property for Thanksgiving through the weekend. We arrived and the main door into the property was broken. We had to enter through the back door that didn't lock so a locksmith had to come to add a lock since that was our only entry egress door. We entered and there was broken glass on the entry floor that needed immediate clean up. The wooden rear entry area was in poor repair with a whole in it that required us to place a small outdoor end table over to alert users to avoid. The stairs to the main floor didn't have a rail making it a safety risk for the kids. The main floor was nice and open and comfortable. The door handle to the beverage fridge in the kitchen was broken and we needed to use duct tape to secure. The dishwasher was not run and was filled with dirty dishes. We found mouse poop under the sink and in a pull out basket. The outdoor grill grates were not clean. We were not provided with any soaps in the bathroom. The deck off the master suite was lovely but the wood was in poor repairs including some protruding floor boardsWe made do, did a lot of cleaning to make the property usable for us. The realty company that manages the property were responsive to the door issue. Properties in Cape May do not provide sheets and towels so they have to ordered and picked up. This did not alter the cleaning fee that we were charged. The owners offered us a 100.00 off our charges which seemed out of step with all the problems we encountered.
Very nice house for a family of 9. It was winter so we did not get outside much. Convenient to restaurants and Washington Street Mall. The house was clean and spacious. The only downside was having to bring sheets and towels, would have been much easier if supplied...
Overall a great stay!
My family and I, stayed at this beautiful property for Easter and it was AMAZING! We are no strangers to staying at various homes in Cape May for summer vacations, winter retreats, and spring getaways. This house had it all. It was great for a large family to have space to spend time together while also have times to be on your own. The house is on a quiet street and close to downtown. The yard was beautifully fenced in and allowed our two dogs and kids plenty of space to run around and play! We already requested another stay for next year!
Beautiful house! Locking the doors and figuring out the lights and fans were tricky. Overall .. a wonderful setting that I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.
We had a very nice stay, and the big fenced yard was perfect for our 2 dachshunds!! The outside shower was awesome!
The low profile kitchen took some getting used to, and the keurig coffee pot was nice, but we’re a family of morning coffee drinkers and a full sized pot of coffee would have been better.
It’s a beautiful property, and the open main floor and porch were very nice.
This home was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The secluded yard was huge, large enough for family, games and our dog. The screened in porch was the family hang and the kitchen was a cooks dream. We were able to reach the beach, restaurants and bicycling from our door. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!
We visit cape May each year and this time focused on a dog friendly home with room for our family. We liked the big year for the dogs and the main level in the house was wonderful with the kitchen, living room with fireplace and screened in porch. Most of our time was spent here. I think with a deep clean and new mattresses this would be an even better home.
Just spent a few days in the middle of winter for a change of scenery. Big yard for our 2 small dogs, close to all the restaurants in Cape May. Clean and spacious home. Would stay again!

Nice home, big back yard, communication, check in and check out not ideal
We went to Cape May to celebrate my grandmothers birthday for a weekend with family. We enjoyed the property, great kitchen/ living room area, nice screened in porch, beautiful bathroom upstairs, and huge fenced in backyard for our pup. I have never had a realtor tied to a VRBO or Abandb so some of the fees were much more then what a was used to and the communication was difficult as you were not able to speak to the actual owner. It also was not walkable to town or the beach but you were secluded. We were not able to check in til 2pm and check out at 10am, it was not cleaned properly before we got there and there were no towels, or sheets. We were also supposedly responsible to take out the trash to the street, which we I have never done before. All in all, lovely property, tough communication with a third party, (not the realtors fault) large contract, and a bit of a hassle for a vacation.
Nice house with HUGE backyard. Great for a dog. Living room and kitchen were beautiful. Same goes for the deck attached. Overall a great place to spend a few days in Cape May with friends and a dog.
Few friends of ours and our two pups spent a long weekend at this gorgeous house! House was spacious and clean and we loved the screened patio and the large fenced in back yard. We played cornhole in the backyard while the pups ran around. I myself spent many hours reading on the upper deck and enjoying the sun. We even took a short drive to Highee beach where the pups were allowed to come as well since leashed dogs are allowed on the beach after Sept 1. People were asking if we could book this house again even before the weekend was over! The only downside of the trip was we were there when the Eagles played the Cowboys for MNF and that game did not go well. But it wasn’t enough to dampen the weekend.
We enjoyed staying at this west cape May house. It fit our 2 families nicely and we really enjoyed the screened in porch where we spent most of our time. Great house for dogs….large enclosed back yard.
My family and I had the best experience staying at 783 Stimpson Lane! The house was extremely clean upon arrival and absolutely beautiful! It was just big enough for all 6 adults, 2 infants, and 1 toddler. Our dogs also enjoyed the HUGE backyard and spent most of their time chasing tennis balls outside. We had no issues during our stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect beach vacation home!
Great place for family no matter the time of year!
The Exit Zero house was perfect for our family - the kids loved the ping pong table and having their own room, the kitchen allowed for cooking, doing remote learning, and the fireplace room was where we gathered every day! The house is 5 minutes from literally EVERYTHING so we could get to the farm, the winery, the beach, the restaurants easily. Ami at Coastline was incredibly responsive and helpful support, and the owners also had great guidance on their website. We had a great time during a week that was otherwise cold and windy, so I can imagine this house being perfect in the summer and winter too.
We stayed here for a long weekend and had so much fun. The house was spotless and even better in person! It is close to town and several wineries. Great experience!
This property is STUNNING. My friends and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our dear Bride before she ties the knot this month. Not only was the house clean and and prepped for our arrival, but it was immaculately maintained and aesthetically perfect for photos to commemorate our event. We enjoyed dinner downtown and sipped wine at Willow Creek! The rental process with CoastLine Realty was incredibly helpful and easy. Absolutely would recommend!
The Exit Zero House, as it's commonly referred to, is really spectacular. We stayed in February during a winter storm and felt like we were right at home with the tremendous fireplace, the cozy reading areas, the well appointed kitchen, and the abundance of space. From check in to check out, the process was seamless. This home is definitely off the beaten path in Cape May, but that's a good thing in this day and age. Stay here. Your won't regret it.
My family rented this house shortly after the new year. My wife and kids worked/learned remotely without any issues. Great living room area with fireplace that you won't want to leave. Huge kitchen with big island. Plenty of room for the the whole family. We got great use of the ping pong table on the first floor. Loved the bookshelves and all the different selections. No better place to stay warm and cozy on a winters day. Would definitely go back.
