Completely renovated.
Totally independent 120 m2 holiday cottage. Separate entrance. Separate enclosed garden of 580 m2.

Ideally located 700 m from the beach, 400 m from the village centre. 20 minutes from Caen, 30 minutes from Bayeux.
Close to the D-Day landing beaches.

Fully equipped kitchen: oven, ceramic hob, microwave, double fridge, freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle, filter coffee maker.

Garden equipment: table, chairs, deckchairs, barbecue.
Linen and bedding can be provided for an additional charge of EUR 15 per person.

The French experience

As soon as I stepped onto the creaky wooden spiral staircase, I felt that I was in the real France. A wonderful, characterful house. Everything you might need was provided. Beautifully equipped kitchen, plenty of space, lovely private garden, safe parking and a helpful, friendly host. I just hope that we can return someday, but for longer .

Worst stay, no bedding, damp, mould and disrepair

actually the most horrible stay of my adult life: we arrived and were shepherded into the compound to park the car - and over an unmarked gate post sticking up in the middle of the driveway. the car was damaged and is still damaged to this day. after the first day we parked the car on the road outside. There was no bedding or linen provided with the booking, despite this not being clear in the english version of the listing. we spent the first night sleeping on mattresses with no sheets before, on REQUESTING to leave and cancel our stay, the owners provided bedding. The house smelt damp, particularly upstairs. there was visible mould in the kitchen from the flat roof leaking. The bell in the nearby church chimes EVERY 15 minutes ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. All of this was reported VRBO who felt that it didnt meet their criteria for intervention. The door fell off the dishwasher while we were there.

Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux dans ce gite de charme très joliment rénové. Très bon accueil des propriétaires qui nous ont donné plein de conseils pour profiter au maximum de la région. Le gite est très propre, calme et très bien équipé. Le charme de l'ancien avec le confort du moderne. On recommande !

Un excellent séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Le gîte est spacieux, confortable et très calme. Il est idéalement situé, à proximité de la plage et de nombreux lieux touristiques, permettant ainsi de facilement rayonner dans la région. Un très bon accueil également des propriétaires. Nous recommandons chaudement cette adresse!

Great time in Bernieres-sur-Mer

We had a lovely time staying here, the property was a really good size and very clean. There is a large garden to sit out in and plenty of space for children to run around. There is a well equipped kitchen and BBQ in the garden. Overall the property and location exceeded our expectations, we would definitely consider staying again. Bernieres-sur-Mer is a lovely place and the property is just a few minutes from the beach. It's just a short drive to Cabourg if you are looking for some more options to eat out. If you are interested in the history of the region Bayeux is well worth a visit to see the tapestry, and the Pegasus Memorial was also very good.
