Everything was perfect. My family and I really had a good time and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house had many things to keep us entertained, but it is very close to lake access as well as a pool. Would definitely book again!
We would highly recommend this vacation rental for visiting lake Cumberland. Communication with the owners was very fast. I would also recommend keeping your boat at Conley Bottom Marina… about 25 minutes away. Very clean, easy to access and a beautiful part of the lake.
The house was perfect for our group of 5 moms desperately needing to unwind. Very private decks with lovely wooded views. Amply stocked with necessary items (we were glad we brought beach towels for the hot tub). The beds are insanely comfortable. Excellent communication with the host. Would gladly stay here again.
We loved lake Cumberland! This rental property was beautiful and checked all the boxes for our families needs! My only complaint is not having a boat dock. Pulling our boat out of the water each day was exhausting but it was nice having the boat slip in the neighborhood! We will definitely consider renting this property in the future
Great place for family and friends. Plenty of space, covered deck was great. Has 3 ceiling fans that move good air flow. All beds are foam mattresses big plus. Lake Cumberland is big, this place is in Burnside just keep this in mind. Boat ramp right outside the gate. Place is clean and the community is just as clean.
Would definitely rent again.
The cabin was clean and well cared for. The flow of the cabin was nice and there was plenty for all to do. The owner replied to my questions quickly. Check in went smoothly. The only things I would have wanted to know (and no fault of the owner at all) is that you have to take your trash out with you to a dumpster down the street and the last 15 minutes of the drive is up a crazy windy road. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much!
Can't wait to return to this lake house. It was very clean and recently updated. The location is great and the deck was very private for our little get togethers. The beds are super comfortable, even better than ours at home. Loved the neighborhood at Lake Cumberland Resort and enjoyed the morning and evening walks. So quiet and peaceful. Kitchen had everything we needed and really liked the coffee/ hot chocolate bar. We were able to get our car, two trucks and our two fishing boats in the driveway. Really appreciate the smart TVs in every room too. The hot tub did wonders for our sore muscles. We'll be back for sure in the summer!
My husband and I used to come down to take our kids to Christmas Island ever year. When we saw they had reopened it, we planned a little memory trip. The cabin was close by so very good location for us. We arrived late after going to see the lights, so we were very grateful that the check in process was very simple and everything at the cabin was Perfect. We brought my mother in law with us, so the upstairs bedroom was excellent for her. Very few steps to get into the cabin as well.
I enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after the long trip... definitely one of the cleanest tubs I've seen compared to other cabins we have stayed at in the past.
Unfortunately we couldn't stay for our 2nd night bc i had to be back to work the next day, but again was very grateful that the beds were all very comfortable so we all had a good night's rest. Our son also stayed with us, and no one was ready to leave.
Would definitely recommend staying here. We normally stay over by Jamestown and Russell springs when we come down in the summer for boating, but if we ever stay on this side of the lake we will be staying here if possible. Very well taken care of, and lots of care on details to make sure you have what you need for a perfect stay. Thank you soo much for letting us use your beautiful cabin.
Recently updated , clean, plenty of space, quite culdesac.
Overall great stay! We’ve stayed several times in this general location, first time at this particular home. Calvin the property manager is always responsive. House was clean besides a few dishes, which we quickly learned was an issue with the dishwasher it’s self not working properly. Calvin quickly offered to have it fixed ASAP but we just hand washed rather than having to deal with someone entering the house.
Plenty of room and having the bedrooms on different levels made it great for the kiddos. There was a baby gate at the steps which was super helpful and also a pool table in the basement that wasn’t listed or pictured in the listing.
Neighbor hood was quite, close to the pool and boat ramp and the back yard had a nice flat grassy area which was great. Room enough in the driveway for our SUV and 16ft boat along with 2 other vehicles.
Had most of the basic things you would need for meal prep, bed linens a few bath towels/wash clothes and kitchen towels.
I would suggest adding a few more bath towels and a dish clothes for the kitchen, we had to use a bath wash cloth because there weren’t any dishcloths. Other than that it was just about perfect. We would defiantly recommend not only this location but the house itself.
Thanks!

The home was very comfortable for our family and we had everything we needed. The communication with the host was prompt and courteous. We had 5, plus our dog and it was perfect. There were many different areas of the house to find quiet (we had two that needed to hop on their computers and work a bit) , but it still felt restful even to them. The kitchen had all needed items. We brought all of our own food for the week, most was already prepped, and there were pans and bowls etc to use. We were glad we did, as the nearest eating places were approx 15-20 min away and the roads are very curvy and hilly. I would have driven the 30 min to get groceries otherwise. There were some delivery options available but we did not use them. This is definitely a place that boating is built around. We were a bit disappointed that kayak rentals were a significant drive away, and the closer place did not have them. I would plan that part out better next time. The community had pools that were nice and clean, one very close. Fun fact, they don’t have restrooms so maybe don’t walk to it😂. But we did use it a few times and enjoyed ourselves. The hot tub at the house was nice and clean but we never used it. The weather was a bit too warm for it, but if it were cooler we would have. The fire pit was also in a nice area at the house, but again, just didn’t use it due to the weather. All the beds were comfortable and there were fresh towels. We did bring beach towels. Great trip all around.
We rented this beautiful cabin over Thanksgiving. It was clean, updated and decorated for the holidays. The hot tub, gas fireplace on the patio and pool table were all added bonuses. It was spacious and perfect for a family of 5. We thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to go back again.
The property is in a nice neighborhood yet offers ample privacy. The kitchen is well stocked, both decks offered peaceful seclusion, and the bed on the main level was very comfortable. Would love to visit again.
We stayed for a long weekend with adult kids and grandkids. It worked out well. The house is set up so that the main level has the main bedroom and one bathroom; and the lower level has two bedrooms and another bathroom with a TV area with futon and a pool table area downstairs as well.
The hot tub and screened in porch are on the lower level also.
The main level has a nice deck with lots of seating to eat together. We brought chairs to put out by the fire pit but did not need to because there are chairs already provided.
It does offer a very big dining room table to eat at. I brought my own vinyl tablecloth and I am glad I did because it’s a wood table.
You do need to bring your own beach towels if you plan on swimming or going to the lake. Also they only provide one bath towel per person staying so if you like a clean towel each time you shower you may want to bring extra towels or you will have to do laundry in the washer and dryer which are in the downstairs closet.
There is a boat ramp just outside the gate. And Burnside is the closest marina. However we rented a boat from Conley Bottom marina. It was a little farther than I expected but was definitely worth the drive to get the double decker pontoon boat with slide that we wanted. It took us about 45 minutes to get there.
Bring plenty of food to cook because there are not any restaurants nearby. But you have all you need to cook in the kitchen. There is a small place just outside the gate that offers pizza and ice cream and coffee. But be advised that they close fairly early. When we got back from the lake it was our plan to order pizzas but they closed by 6:30. We had to go about 13 miles to get pizza. That may not sound like very far but keep in mind the roads are very winding! :) (Also at this time the icemaker does not work but there are ice cube trays provided.) We had a cooler with ice which helped.
All in all it was a wonderful weekend. It’s a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The pool table and the hot tub and the deck and the fire pit were a nice plus. The owners are very responsive and made the check in and check out process smooth.
This cabin was even better than the listing. Super clean and more spacious than pictures appear. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the nearby pool and some time on the lake. Host was always quick to reply during reservation process.
