A wonderful property with gorgeous views of Lake Arenal. Quiet and peaceful. The house was spotless and the gardens gorgeous. Comfortable beds and a very nice host! The town nearby had several very good restaurants with very friendly folks. Also an organic grocery store, traditional small grocery store and a pharmacy all within walking distance.

1st time to costa rica

This country is beautiful and our vrbo had the best views to include lots of birds and jungle sounds. Would definitely stay here again. There was so much to do locally. Glad we rented a car. Ecotermales springs was the highlight of our trip after the volcano hike and hanging bridges.

Elegant Living In A Beautiful Location

This is by far our favorite VRBO rental. The location is excellent. We were close enough to walk to town and the house is secluded and private in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view. The layout of the home is perfect. It is very spacious with large windows, an open floor plan with a loft for the master bedroom all facing the lake. Quality contruction, comfortable furniture both indoors and on the patio, a well stocked kitchen, functional screens, fans, good lighting, tasteful artwork representing Costa Rican culture all made this home one that we really enjoyed living in. Ricky is an excellent host. He's very knowedgeable about the area and has suggestions for restaurants, places of interest and activities. When we had a question or needed something he responded immediately. We would most definitely return.

Overall a wonderful place

Property was great. Its relatively new, so well done. Ricky was helpful and attentive. Be aware, Arenal volcano area is 30-60 minute drive away...not so bad given the roads. Restaurants nearby are good, so while possible...not required to cook!
